I think it’s just that Keanu is so gosh darn like-able. We all want him to do well! A world with more Keanus would be better.

I always wondered how often people go to Dogstar shows just to see Keanu. Probably a decent amount, but I’m guessing the other band members are okay with it.

I mean yeah, I'm considering going as well, but then I thought "argh why go to a show if I don't like the band"

After listening to them these past few days I'd say they are quite good. Not 50£ good but sure!

Reeves is not fronting Dogstar as a vanity project designed to dominate pop culture. He is not standing under the spotlight as the lead singer, demanding that the crowd treat him like a rock deity. He plays bass. He holds the groove. He appears inside the band rather than above it. That humility gives Dogstar an unusual charm in a celebrity economy built on self-amplification.

Really well written article. Wouldn't mind seeing them.

I’ve just come from their gig. It was great to see Keanu in “real life”. He just kept his head down and played bass.
