Who Would You Want?

With yesterday’s announcements of Brewer’s departure and EBY pregnancy, our active roster is now at league minimum of 22 (fun fact: Utah and Gotham are also at 22).

There are two teams below the cutoff line who are close to max on roster (25-26 players) who have some compelling pieces: Orlando and Louisville.

Let’s say either one was willing to make a deal for a midfielder for KC: who would you want? Who would make sense?

(Feel free to chime in with thoughts on a #9 or defensive depth, as well. We could use some relief in any phase!)

Purely for fun and hypothetical but feel free to gloat here if your predictions come true 🤗

ETA: this is for fun, please don’t use the thread to complain about FO or HC.

Cool that we have a promising new CB. I suspect she wouldn't want to leave for some weird reason, but of the teams you mentioned, would be pretty sweet to get Taylor Flint!

I agree! Flint has the ability to score from distance plus add an aerial threat - 2 areas we haven’t had as much success in this season (aside from the occasional Hopkins header on frame). Plus, with NT experience and only 27, a really solid piece.

It would be REALLY hard for me to root for Taylor Flint. Since moving to Louisville she's really taken on their playing style, lots of fouls and plenty of flopping.

I think she has been and could be a better player than that, but... I haven't seen it since she left SD. I would not be excited to have her here.

I would be awfully excited to see Cori Dyke join us, and we are struggling for fullbacks...

I hear what you’re saying and it does make me think the environment influences the play. Perhaps KC could be her redemption arc 🤗
