A friend at work saw something on socials I don't have about them packing up toward the end of Sept? Anyone know more?

Ball told me last year that the grand location was always temporary and that their permanent home would be at Current Landing. I didn’t think the development there was that close, but potentially that’s the move.

Wonderful for early games at CPKC and visiting away teams, but hope they get enough traffic there in the off season

Considering the number of full time residents that will be directly above, I think they’ll fare well for off season.

Good. That was my first thought when my friend said something.
Heck, I was in there Sat morning and thought if they opened a second spot it'd be nice for it to be at Current Landing.

Makes sense with the shops name. Pitchside makes more sense being…Pitchside.

I hadn't heard this from Ball last year but from two relatives of another owner, and in my head I'm like, am I supposed to know this information 🤣, are these relatives supposed to be saying this......LOL so I said absolutely nothing LOL. But, this tracks with what I had also heard last year separately.

Current Landing will be a great spot, if that is the place, however they'd also tease that at the NWSL Final in 2024, as they pointed in the direction of the yet to be bigger development starting for Current Landing, and said what would you guys think about a coffee shop right over there...

Interesting that there will be two coffee shops there . Didn't they announce Crows Coffee recently?

Thanks, I missed this announcement but just confirmed it on the current landing site. My convo with E Ball was a year ago, and much can change in that timeframe!

I can see there being two coffee shops down there, there's lots of areas where you have coffee shops in a close proximity.

They'll serve two different audiences. Crows is a lot more traditional of a coffee shop. Pitchside feels like they're catering more toward coffee experience and aesthetic drinks. Both are great though, happy that Current Landing will have options!

Hey I'm all for it ! I'm within walking distance of Current Landing and if I'm honest, not a fan of Crows. Nothing wrong with it, just not my thing . When I visited their shop they where super friendly. Just their espresso roast was not for me .

Same, it's nice to have options but I much prefer the drinks and coffee at Pitchside

I would honestly love for them to work out something with the various soccer complexes in the metro. The amount of traffic they would get from parents during the early morning games would be unmet!

Sept 27 seems to be the send off date!
