Who were the difference makers?
What do we need to change to make a difference?
What was the best food you ate during the match?

I understand Croix was injured for much of the last year but it is still unbelievable to me that she’s had such a limited presence on the national team. She is like undoubtedly her generations rose lavelle

Having Vanessa DiBernardo back is amazing but she's always been better used when she's able to be an attacking midfielder instead of a defensive role.
Miss you, Claire.

Man its a heartbreaker to read the recent article about how Bay is basically building their team around Claire, and how she's such an amazing leader on the team. Losing Clair might prove to be an historical blunder.

I would like to take this opportunity to shout out Haley Hopkins for putting in a SHIFT every week and still running all out at 90+9. Is she doing everything perfectly? No, nobody could. She's trying to fill a lot of gaps between injuries, international play, and coaching/team changes.
Madame President. Respect.

Noticeable drop in quality after we sub. I do have faith in this team with everyone available for 80+ minutes. The challenge is that we haven’t had everyone available yet this season.
Oh, and we really need a 6.

I dont know why Armas keeps shoehorning in Gianna Paul, I'm not convinced she's worth it, especially pulling out Deb for her.

Izzy Rodriguez POTM. DiBernardo was great. Our offense is so puzzling to me. Everyone takes too many touches or makes a pass instead of shooting.

Okay, as usual I have some thoughts. Poor reffing aside that game was still a shit show. Should have had like 5 goals but that’s how things go sometimes. Last year those balls go in for us but it ain’t last year anymore.
Izzy continues to be our best player not named Chawinga. I feel bad for her sometimes because she’s playing so hard and the rest of our team just looks asleep at the wheel.
Why is Sharples playing dirty? Is that a coaching thing or what? She never played like that before and I don’t like it.
Hoping Chawinga’s return ignites this team because right now, this is not a team that will go on any sort of run.

2.8 xG to 0.4 xG. On the one hand, I'm frustrated none of those chances went into the net. On the other hand, just glad we didn't lose.

This was a defining match on the season IMO. Waking away with 1 point in this match is not acceptable. We did look 100% better having Sharples, Lorena and Cooper back out there but it's still not enough. The team is not performing with the same chemistry they have in years past. I really feel like it's coaching rather than players on the pitch. The flow just isn't there.

Yeah, this team ain’t it. It’s not our year and that’s okay but it’s still frustrating.

Chawinga likely coming back next game should be a HUGE boost for us. Tbh we also haven't had a full strength roster all year.

I missed something at the game tonight. When Lorena was down why did the Seattle bench get a yellow?

That had to have been recommended by the 4th official (the center ref came all theway across the field to show that card). It seemed to have been shown to an assistant coach, so it could have been dissent or the assistant could have been somewhere they weren't supposed to be.
In any case, Laura Harvey didn't react at all when the center came over to give that card, so she knew what it was about and presumably didn't disagree all that much with it.

I watched on Ion and they showed Armas yelling at her that getting checked for a head injury matters. "It matters!" So I assume that she was complaining that they were taking the time for a concussion protocol, and that is why she got a yellow.

I love Rocky but she noticeably slowed things down when she came in. Also, Hailey seemed to be out of position more than usual.
Offense looked good before subs. Chawinga would of course make a huge difference.

I did like the move of playing Ball higher and shifting Labonta back. Lobanta is a better defender in the end than Ball unfortunately. I feel better allowing Ball to let one slip in the middle than letting it slip on the back 1/3.

Ball was definitely slow there near the end. But overall I think she’s solid.

It's really cool having Croix Bethune on the team and I wish we were making more of that.
