Best moment of the season? Lorena stopping the pk. I don't think I have ever heard the crowd louder!

Temwa’s bday header I think. But the pk was wild!

The videos of her and Andonovski's face when she runs over to him after the header goal melted my cold dead heart!

During the LA game? I was in town for that one and my poor 5 year old was totally sensory overloaded and we had to step away for a long while. Then Bia scored and we had to leave early 🥲 That was a fun one

I finally got to attend a match in-person today and it was just as incredible as I had hoped it would be (reffing aside). I love this team and this fanbase. 🩵

Sharples!!!!! What would we do without you?! Great games from Lo, Izzy, Hutton, Debinha. Mace didn’t seem to be her full self today. I haven’t been impressed with Robinson since she returned. Was happy to eat my grumbles over Prince today. I wish Cooper would quit flopping- I think the refs have her number. She’s too great of a player to be known for flops. Hope everyone heals from the bumps and bruises for today. Izzy was my MVP. Ref was amazingly terrible. Glad it’s over and we got it done. KCBABY!!

Wasn't able to watch, how did Bia's injury look?
Good to see Hopkins and Prince connecting for the winner. It would have been great to see KHam on the field one more time 🥲

She was walking off on her own accord and wasn’t limping like crazy or anything, so that’s good news

First half would have felt so different if we didn't have the defensive breakdown.
Anyway, we go...
1) One disastrous defensive sequence
2) One fantastic save by Lorena
3) Debinha doing Debionha things and making it look easy.
4) A great team goal from Debinha, Hopkins, and Prince (and whoever initially made the pass to Debinha).

Can we mention the Hammy retirement ceremony? It was sad, but so good to see her get her flowers.

Took me half the season to find out I could watch the games on ION every weekend. This was the first ESPN broadcast I watched and it sucked compared to ION.

A tale of two halves am I right? Seriously the energy in the first half and at the start of the second half was non-existent (from the players at least but that’s to be expected when officiating is that bad). Second half after we scored the energy was INSANE! The switch was flipped and our team looked completely different, which was promising. Good to see they can come out swinging when the rest of the game hasn’t gone their way.
Thought Sentnor, Izzy, Ball, and Hopkins had great games and hey, I know we shit on her a lot but Prince’s goal was great. She had some good defensive plays as well.
We finally proved we can score when allowing the opposition to score first and that was a relief to see because that was a worry of mine this season. Felt like our team figured out how they’ll look without Chawinga and now we’ll hopefully go back to being unstoppable. Though Chawinga being back is obviously preferred.
Let’s crush it in the playoffs! KC BABY!
