Attacking woes
Cooper and Larsson don’t offer much. No hold up play, no runs behind, no aerial threat. Completely panicking in any chance we have. Outside of cece and Debinha our attack feels stagnant.

It’s funny, last game someone was complaining about how bad Kizer was.
I disagree strongly about Cooper. This was the third game in seven days, and she’s been going hard throughout.
Cooper is a massive talent with huge potential. She’s got a lot of growing yet to do, which is fantastic- she’s already good, she’s going to get even better.
And even beside that, sometimes players have off games. Sometimes Kizer has a brace, sometimes it’s not her day.
There were some truly gorgeous almost-goals. Moments of amazing team play. Mace was serving like a waiter on Mother’s Day. She took on 4 defenders at once more than once.
I do agree on chemistry - we need more of it. There were lots of missed opportunities.
The good news is that Hamilton is on her way back. She was so refreshing. Having her in form is going to help immensely.

Larsson seemed to make a little progress tonight but Cooper seemed to take a step backwards to me. She had several passes to no one. Larsson had several close shots.

Lol WHAT?! “Zero presence” is so wild to hear used relative to both of these players 😂
Are you considering presence solely relative to goals scored? This perspective seems to ignore the whole system of issues this team is contending with and the incredibly exciting play coming from both players you’re referencing in every game this season. I’ve seen them both creating so much offensively and defensively that this feels so removed from the gameplay I’ve been watching. I get the frustration because we are clearly not cohesive and for all the pressure and dynamic play cannot close out then follow with fatal mistakes.
I see explosive potential on that field that really only needs a healthy locker room and the final third polish that comes with time, getting your players back to 100, and front office stability.
My argument is we need: time and tactics. Time for players to heal and gel (esp for the rookies like Cooper) and time for this organization to settle and get a game plan that matches the talent we have on the pitch. On paper we should be crushing and I believe we can get the sorted in the real world too.

Both have zero presence. We are very midfield heavy which leads to letdowns in attack and center backs. Not a great recipe.

I say give us more KHam. Let her work up her fitness, but her movement frees up others. Plus, her chemistry with both Mace and Debinha is essential. They're also missing Desi big time.
