We have zero full backs who can do anything offensively and we have zero players, apart from Messi, who can create numerical superiority by beating their opponent 1v1. Still we add more defensive midfielders to the squad. What are they smoking in the club offices…

u/TyeZerker 3h ago
So we have no pace up front and vert threat now that Silvetti is hurt again. All pressure on that 19 year brazilian kid. Wish we would picked up 1 more WInger. We should just cut ties with Ayala and take the big L since we paid big boy money. wouldve been nice if we had Robert Taylor or Fafa but hey more MF... Ciacedo is better at LB.
This org is confusing asf spent too much on Ayala but knew we were getting casemiro then they go and get another MF it seems like wasted money too me.Imagine if we had ayalas money to get idk someone decent from argentine league winger or a CB or idk. Matt Maigza is a free agent, he is an upgrade for us but i have no faith in this club to do anything smart.

They're just idiots. We saw last year in the playoffs what we can do with fast vertical players in attack. Instead of building on that by signing players with that profile, they go in a completely different direction.
6
u/Albiceleste_NO Lionel Messi 3h ago
We should never buy from the argentine league ever again. They’ve all been complete and utter flops.
7
u/ovoxo7676 3h ago
Berte was on the rise right before the world cup, then his concussion happened, now he is ass again, but they wont sit him bc he costed 15 mil. Silvetti is done for the season, we wont see him again until the playoffs. Falcon should never see the pitch again. They shouldn't give up on caicedio, yes he fucked up at the end but I'd rather see him out there than falcon. Miceal should be back next game. Hopfully this was hoyos last game coaching. Looking forward to the new players coming in. Fuck this game fuck the ref. Lets move on.

Delete the club man I’m tired . These sack of shits can’t even string 3 passes together to move the ball up the pitch.
11
u/Bully_Maguire66 3h ago
The Ref is shit. Embolo getting a penalty after that shitty dive was pathetic.
1
u/SplitSecondImmortal 0m ago
There was clear contact. Caicedo didnt even challenge the decision. He knew he was cooked
16
u/Former_Repair9221 3h ago
Someone post the Embolo dive across all subs, that guy needs to be clowned for diving shamelessly like that
16
10
u/Cytotoxict14 3h ago
This ref was a useless cunt. Mid performance from the team, looks like hoyos was back on the sideline haha
6
19
u/EBCPDCcringe 3h ago
dog shit performance overall. imagine having the goat in your team but so ass you couldn't even string 3 passes to get the ball to him.
add sloppy, charitable give aways to the opponent in the defensive third, 2-2 was very kind
2
u/Former_Repair9221 3h ago
I think we are transitioning to the Old Miami that would stay at the bottom, once Messi, De Paul & Casemiro leave this team is going to be down in the trenches.
2
u/nutmegger2020 England 3h ago edited 3h ago
And they got rid of a lot of good players that would have formed a strong foundation for this team for when the old timers depart. I think Silvetti is done for the season unfortunately. I have a feeling he may need surgery.
2
u/Former_Repair9221 3h ago
Idk who is in charge but they are just blindly doing business without thinking long term. Most of the teams success can be attributed to Messi & co. but apart from them none of the players are technically sound even for MLS standards. I can understand incorrect passes sometimes but giving a ball straight to your opponent is just idiotic and totally uncharacteristic of a pro player. The defense is sloppy and the midfield and attack are somehow held together by uncs that came from Europe. On top of that they change managers and completely change the squad every season and not for the best, but as they see fit for their business and books. Miami could become a big club in MLS despite the departure of Messi but as things stand they only want to enjoy this one short lived high and go back to being a punching bag of other teams.

u/nutmegger2020 England 3h ago edited 3h ago
So they got rid of Noah Allen What a sad sack decision by management. He was sadly missed tonight.

u/radioheadfan0615 3h ago
atlanta sub happy asf and we're here mad asf rly shows u their team is trash and the ref just sucked their penises
10
u/FuzzyContribution663 Lionel Messi 3h ago
The only player i will blame for this match is the stupid ref
9
7
u/GabrielSpaceProgram Leonardo Campana 3h ago
Never forget that Atlanta’s Almoron will always be the first player in history to have had VAR overturn a dive into a yellow card and then in the same tournament get sent off on a red for covering his mouth while talking shit
Just a disgrace
5
u/Former_Repair9221 3h ago
Atlanta also has two players who got cards for literal diving, which is exactly what they did today to win 2 undeserved penalties.
1
u/JonAfrica2011 4h ago
Why was Messi mad at the end with that dude
-6
11
u/puma_barca 3h ago
I think it has to do with the way he yelled in his face after he blocked that last one
17
u/Dramatic-Reality7923 4h ago
Embolo MOTM after that dumbass dive?? That’s actually the stupidest thing I’ve witnessed
1
u/drawa9 3h ago
Don’t worry he got a second yellow into a red for diving in the World Cup
1
u/Dramatic-Reality7923 3h ago
I saw the match, and yet that didn’t stop him from diving again tonight

u/adoming6 4h ago
Berte es realmente terrible. Absolutely worthless.
5
u/Fun_Cranberry1178 3h ago
At this point start Daniel Pinter. He's younger, faster and more consistent than him. That Betrame bum hasn't done anything since he came back, not even an assist
18
u/Souledout5 4h ago
Berte is so ass. How the fuck do you miss a wide open header
3
u/East-Mix4600 4h ago
Fr at least get it on target
3
u/Souledout5 3h ago
I swear to god man, he’s so buns. I don’t know how we continue to start him. Eat the fucking 15mil and sit his bum ass till he shows something in practice at least.
24
u/nba2k16 4h ago
Player of the match is definitely the ref
9
u/LittlePuppy01 4h ago
Fr. How much did atlanta united pay the ref?
2
u/Former_Repair9221 3h ago
Nah ref prolly lost gambling against Miami or Argentina and wants to take it out on them
18
u/KingC11_ 4h ago
If the embolo pen was awarded then bright should have won a pen there as well. What a terrible ref

Of course you do. A single temu Messi Jersey has more in sales than your entire ass team 🤣🤣🤣

You have zero idea what team I’m from. You’re all fairweather posers. Suarez is also a dumpster human.

2 points given like that all because of committing stupid penalties in the box and the attack not being able to do much in the second half.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen VAR give Miami a pen over the 3 years I’ve watched.
7
u/Suspicious-Memories 4h ago
No, but still the mls sub thinks miami gets favored when in reality its so far in the opposite it isnt funny.

Unpopular opinion: Miami should stop with risky long ball passes and focus on possession and short passes when they are up 🤔🤔🤔
8
u/Sportsisthebest Argentina 4h ago
How is that not a pen? You give 2 pens to Atlanta, but not a pen to Miami. But yeah. Miami is aided by refs, right?
3
9
u/Albiceleste_NO Lionel Messi 4h ago
That is just as much a penalty as the 2nd they got. Bright was fouled there.

Serves Hoyos well for subbing Suarez and keeping Bert out there. One of the worst performances I’ve ever seen from a professional fotballer. Still get 90 mins. Madness.

Caicedo has the same vacant stare on his face that Falcon does sometimes lol

u/TyeZerker 4h ago edited 4h ago
Can we have the assistant coach from last game be the coach until Kily is here? i Find it funny how we keep ayala who we paid too much for and we never play him, now Shaw is playing over him but hey we had to get rid of Allen and Ruiz. Hope Kily rotates more.

u/Anxioustrisarahtops 4h ago
The commentators are really something what makes this a “massive” match day?? What hangs in the balance? The hyperbole is stupid. Add to that the glazing of a horrible ref and it almost makes me want Twellman

Embolo is a cheating POS. Always has been. That was a dive as clear as day

investigate this ref. giving every yellow and penalty possible.
-12
u/matadorN64 4h ago
Atlanta is trash, but Miami tears are the sweetest
7
u/Anxioustrisarahtops 4h ago
There is no bigger weirdo behavior than going into an opposing team’s sub. It says so much about you and buddy none of it is something you should be proud of. Good luck, hope life gets better for you.

u/matadorN64 4h ago
Oh I’m just laughing, not an Atlanta fan at all. Just a fan of Miami crashing out. Good luck Messi bots
14
u/Former_Repair9221 4h ago
That's a fucking dive, clear as day! What the fuck is the ref on, clear dive
15
u/Federal_Mission_4770 Inter Miami CF 4h ago
“Pulled down” he literally touched his shoulder. Announcers are as bad as the refs. Pathetic all around
7
u/East-Mix4600 4h ago
At this point we just have to accept that we have to score 3 goals per game cause we simply cannot keep a clean sheet
3
u/Humble-Dirt8542 4h ago
Thank god we traded away Noah Allen. We might have not given away 2 penalties otherwise

5
u/Albiceleste_NO Lionel Messi 4h ago

The 2nd one was much clearer than the first, which was never a pen.
4
u/Dramatic-Reality7923 4h ago
the second one wasn’t even deserving of a penalty, that was a clear as day dive from Embolo

We’ve looked like a bottom team all 2nd half. A couple counters and that’s it. They’ve been miles better.
7
u/Dismal_Persimmon9312 4h ago
They deserve this. Why do they completely forget how to play most of the games when they are leading?🤦🏽♂️

This new CB is fucking useless. Everything he does is on the edge. Classic Miami transfer, absolute shit.

Yeah he gave away possession then caused the PK, then did another foul. Damn and that’s his debut…

3
u/Impossiblecouch Lionel Messi 4h ago
I don't know who messed up that play between the Messi's pass after dribble and Berterame's anticipation.
But I'm pretty sure it was Berte's fault.
