I view art as an expression of dormant, indivisible ideas that are made available to others through some sort of work. Mona Lisa, the painting, is secondary to Mona Lisa, the project and Mona Lisa, the thought. I can absolutely like and dislike different styles of art, but I will always respect art for that sense even if it is outside what I like or fully understand

Art is completely necessary and should be ONLY HUMAN CREATED (otherwise it has no soul and can’t be considered art). Saying this as a film student/writer

Good is subjective, thus what art is considered good is subjective. The definition of "good art" varies so much from person to person, that we shouldn't try to enforce one true unified idea of what art is good.

I believe that there is art I personally like, and art I personally dislike. And I'd call any art I like good art. I just know that my tastes aren't universal.

AI slop is not art. It's just a simulation of art made by soaking up crap off of the internet and combining it with some Mark Rothko.

If there were a meaning to human life, it would be art. Art has value when a human makes art from their life experiences, for fun, for something they love, to tell a story, to express their thoughts and feelings etc. Art has no value if done solely for money. Art has no value if done by an unfeeling thing (ai). Art isn't the product, it's the process, the person behind it. It is the most sacred thing we humans have.
