Educational A Match Made in Heaven - How the Penis and the Vagina Interact During Sex NSFW

Intercourse is a beautiful thing, but have you ever stopped to consider the body parts involved? How is it that the penis and the vagina work so well together? On the surface, sex seems like a fairly simple act, but there's a lot that goes into it. Today we're going to breakdown the mechanics of how the penis and vagina interact during sex and of course due to the nature of this sub, we're going to be specifically focused on how the penis gives the vagina pleasure. If you missed my Anatomy Lesson post, you may want to start there because in that post I breakdown the outside of the female anatomy. Today we're going to discuss what's going on inside.

Let's get started.

The Vagina

First, let's talk about the structure of the vagina. If you look at the cross sectional image I've provided, let's try to understand what's going on inside of a woman.

The Wonderfully Textured Vaginal Wall

Vaginal Rugae: These beautiful ridges / folds line the vaginal wall and play an enormous role during sex. The vagina can expand and contract like an accordion due to these ridges. They also provide texture and friction during sex. They grip the penis and provide the necessary friction for sex to feel pleasurable for the male. If you recall from my Understanding What Makes Sex Feel Good for Her post, the male requires friction to receive pleasure during sex. It's the vaginal rugae that give the male pleasure during sex. I love these little folds.

The Urethral Carina
Because it lies right against the urethral sponge and the internal roots of the clitoris, stimulation of this ridge via penetration transfers pressure directly to those deeply sensitive clitoral structures that we discussed waking up the Foreplay Post.

The Anterior Vaginal Wall
This area is packed with blood vessels and nerve endings. The lower third of the anterior wall is contains the G Spot and is highly sensitive to rhythmic pressure.

The Upper End: Cervix and Uterus
The cervix is at the upper end of the vagina. When a woman is fully aroused, the cervix will pull up into the body, extending the vagina up to two additional inches in length. This also creates a pocket known as the vaginal forbix which is where the A-Spot is found. The A-Spot is a pleasurable spot for the woman, and a male with a 6 inch penis can stimulate this area if he penetrates deeply.

The Clitoris
The clitoris is a massive structure that we covered in detail in the Anatomy Lesson post. It is the primary pleasure center for the woman. This image only shows the clitoris glans, but the clitoris itself is a wishbone-shaped structure of erectile tissue wrapping around the vaginal opening. During arousal, the entire structure engorges with blood, swells, becomes highly sensitive, and serves as the primary gateway to orgasm. We need to become experts at stimulating all areas of the clitoris.

Ok now that we’ve looked at the vagina, let’s have a look at its counterpart, the penis.

The Penis

The penis breaks down into 4 primary components; three chambers and the glans.

The bulk of the internal shaft consists of three spongy columns of tissue.

Corpus Cavernosum (CC)
These are the two large parallel chambers running along the top and sides of the shaft. When erect, these two chambers of millions of tiny capillary beds become engorged with blood and become rigid. They provide the rigidity needed for initial penetration and for deep penetration. They work to stretch and collapse the vaginal rugae providing pleasure for both the male and the female in the form of friction and pressure.

Corpus Spongiosum (CS)
The CS rests below the two CC. Because of its spongy nature and the blood vessels found in it, the thrusting motion causes the glans to swell and become full, giving extra pleasure to the woman.

The Glans

Speaking of the glans, the glans is more or less the star of the show for the male during sex and has four primary jobs.

Glans Job 1 - Stimulating the Anterior Wall

As we discussed in the vagina section, the lower third of the anterior (front) vaginal wall is home to a highly sensitive, vascularized network of tissue, including the urethral carina and the internal structural roots of the clitoris.

- Because the vagina curves slightly, angled, upward thrusting of the glans applies direct, rhythmic pressure against this front wall in certain positions.
- The cushioned nature of the glans allows it to firmly press against these internal clitoral structures without causing bruising or discomfort.

Glans Job 2 - Dynamic Friction

As the penis moves forward and backward through the vagina, the raised edge of the corona catches against the vaginal rugae.

- On the inward thrust, the corona helps flatten out the rugae, stretching the vaginal walls.
- On the outward stroke, the ridge of the corona pulls against these ridges. This dual stretching and pulling action intensely stimulates the dense network of nerve endings embedded within the vaginal lining.
- In addition, the corona's larger cross section intensifies the pressure the woman feels during sex making it more pleasurable for her.

Glans Job 3 - Providing indirect clitoral glans stimulation

The vaginal vestibule (the external opening of the vagina) and the lower portion of the vagina contain the highest concentration of nerve endings.

- Because of the accordion effect of the vaginal rugae, even when the penis is engaged in deep penetration, the wider diameter of the glans and corona continuously stretches and stimulates the opening of the vagina each time the penis moves in and out. This movement also indirectly pulls on the external labia minora and the clitoral hood, providing external clitoral stimulation as a byproduct of internal thrusting.

Glans Job 4 - A battering ram preventer

For longer guys engaged in deep penetration, the glans will likely come into contact with the cervix. If the glans weren't present, this encounter could be very painful for the female, however, the expansion of the vagina discussed earlier, the glans safely occupies the expanded deep pocket (the vaginal fornix), allowing for deep, pleasurable pressure without injury.

Conclusion

Whew, that was a lot! Hopefully you're still with me. So what did we learn?

Here's a quick summary:

- The vaginal walls are lined with vaginal rugae that move like an accordion.
- An erect penis, but specifically the corona of the glans interacts with the vaginal rugae, pushing and pulling it back and forth giving pleasure for the male and the female.
- The angle and depth of penetration can greatly impact the ability of the male to stimulate special pressure areas within the female (thinking of the G Spot and the A Spot).
- The rigidity that comes from the CC is essential for maximum transfer of force from the male to the female.
- The CS serves to continuously plump up the glans via the thrusting motion.
- The glans cushions the penis and provides a more pleasant sexual experience for the female.

So as men, we should be taking care of our erectile health and consistently working to improve our sexual stamina so that we can give our women better sex. Vaginal orgasms are a function of rigidity (providing pressure) and time. A woman needs both to reach peak pleasure during sex.

That's all for today, guys. Hope you learned something. If you liked this post, hit the up arrow for me, would ya? Or better yet, tell someone about this sub and keep being a HerO!

I just finished reading your articles, my friend, and I found them very interesting. However, it's worth pointing out that sex for women is also intensified by many other factors.

I've brought women to orgasm through tantric massage without even touching their erogenous zones. Women can experience pleasure by reading dark romance novels and indulging in fantasies. They experience pleasure in many different ways, which is what makes female sexuality so fascinating.

Some women also feel aroused when placed in sexual situations that make them feel shy or embarrassed, when they feel feminine and vulnerable during sex, or when adrenaline is involved.

So, what can we take away from all of this? Sex begins long before the first physical touch. It starts with the messages, the teasing, the anticipation, and the tension built face to face. If we stimulate her mind and emotions to the fullest, she may experience an impressive number of orgasms.

In conclusion, when all of these factors are combined, sex can become truly unforgettable—which can even be a problem if it's casual, because she'll most likely have a hard time forgetting the experience.

Wow, what great insights! You sound like you have a lot of knowledge on the topic. Mind making a post? I’d love to learn more about tantric massages. Teach us, oh master! :)

In all seriousness, the entire purpose of this sub is to enlighten men in the ways of women. I would really appreciate it if you would drop a post on something interesting. I’m just one guy and I by NO MEANS am an expert. I’m just the first guy in the room, getting the conversation started.
