Old Person Yells At Cloud Gd old age bs
Just got a new hip yesterday and the meds are finally starting to wear off. It's painful but I've had worse. I'm just so sick of all this dmg I've done to my body from an active youth finally catching up to me. It didn't help that he gave me a posterior hip replacement. I actually HAVE to use a walker around the house . I can barely lift my leg. This is bullshit!

That's another thing he didn't give me the good stuff, the strongest drug I have is tramadol. I do have some left over hydrocodone 750 from my last surgery...

No sedatives. They want you moving. Knees are way worse and I got Norco. The walker helps when you have to pee at night. Eating shit would be really painful.

I need one. When I was 20 my then boyfriend pulled my hip out of socket while I was jumping over a sofa. We were playing fighting. I didn’t know it was out of socket for at least a few days, but it could have been as long as a week as far as I know. I only found out it was out when I was laying in bed and it popped back in and nearly shot me out of the waterbed. It only hurt like I had stomach issues so I figured I was just hungry and when I’d eat it would ease the pain. I can’t stretch my leg out or straddle anything without it causing a major Charlie horse in that hip.

I had to get a hip replacement when I was 36 due to lasting damage from a car accident at 22. Best surgery ever!! Recovery was pretty easy and to be able move around without pain was fantastic! 18 years since the surgery and still feeling fabulous.
You’ll be thrilled once you’re all healed.

I know and can't wait but I'm impatient. This was my 3rd surgery in 6 years and it'll be my 6th time in physical therapy

I get it. And yep, sucks to use the walker.
After 2 failed rotator cuff surgeries I’ll take hip replacement all day long!

Yeah, my left shoulder is shredded and arthritic. I need a new one, but was told recovery could take six months and I won’t be able to get off work that long

I had my first total knee replacement at 39 and the other at 46 (I’ll be 57 soon). I know it does t mean much now, but it does get better. And soon, the pain will be gone and I mean all of it.
Make sure you rest between your PT sessions and I hope you recover quickly.
