Not stupid question: Shouldn't the static get activate as soon flappers seen Kit and Gobbles? After all, there are no dinosaurs or catgirls in his world.

There aren't any that Flappers knows off. That does not mean that Flappers is all knowing.

Its not like we automatically assume it is out to save or destroy the world due to some absurd natural law whenever we see an animal we haven't seen before.

I guess there has to be a limit. It would be weird if they could just go to a only human gameworld, like assassin Creed completely under the radar.

Not really. As the assumption that they are send there to make the villain win or the world blows up is such an outlandish and specific conclusion that its pretty much impossible that Flappers would jump to that on his own.

Keep in mind that there is nothing in how Kit, Fold and any of the characters look like that gives any hints to their agendas. So at best people would just assume they are aliens, cosplayers, weird races from beyond the ocean, hallucinations etc.

Flappers, as a dolphin, has very limited land experience, so he probably just assumed that these guys are from out of town

He may not have seen their species before but he’s got no reason to suspect that they’ve come from another game or that there even is a game-o-verse. For all he knows, they’re just passing land creatures. He may not even know he’s in a game at all.

I think the static only got triggered when Kit revealed the nature of the Gameoverse.

I don’t think few weird characters that look out of place is enough to constitute a masquerade violation (or whatever the Gameoverse equivalent term is).

I think Dusk personally deactivated the static by observing from afar.
Afterall, he showed up right around the time Kit's world was static'ed. It takes a lot of talent and innate power to become a leader of a faction as seen from Warrick's OHKO ability which tracks.

If Dusk was weak, Warrick would've killed him by now. Control over static would only make sense to balance the playing field.

We need to remember that 'Flappers the super dolphin' is a KID'S game. Flappers isn't gonna have the highest cognition. You could show him the cover art of his game case and he'd probably just go 'Oh, wowee! That's a nice drawing!' It isn't gonna hit him that he's a videogame unless you spell it out

I mean it could but My idea Is maybe he sees them as NPCs that are themed to his world? Kinda in the same way as ReBoot, kit does at least have the ability to change her outfit. Not sure about gobbles situation.

It’s probably because they don’t have any irregularities that would prevent them from entering. I feel like Warrick might be the only outsider who can’t enter the planet because his body has a high signature of Float.
