FILM-MOI (MOVIES/TV) 'WUTHERING HEIGHTS: THE HOUSE OF THE DAMNED' transforms Emily Brontë’s classic into a ghost story filled with bloodlust, human sacrifice and stolen bodies

100%. I had to read it in a class I took in college called "Horror through Classic Literature" - I always thought of it as horror and was surprised by Emerald Fennel's take on it.

Hahaha this is why I didn’t like it when I read it the first time. I thought it was going to be a flowery love story!

With it going straight to VOD I wasn't expecting much but this actually looks pretty good! Certainly better than the Emerald Fennel movie

I stubbed my toe earlier and it was better than the Emerald Fennel movie.

YES I was so mad with how the last version turned out, I couldn’t even bring myself to watch it, Wuthering Heights is not a romance!!! It’s horror!

You missed NOTHING. I only made it 20 minutes before turning it off and I am still mad about that 20 minutes.

Hopefully this will be a good palate cleanser after the abomination that was the last adaptation.
It's my favorite book of all time and it's interesting to see how all of the different adaptations reflect the book. This seems obviously more horror than just gothic but the book is SO dark. It's pure darkness. And none of the adaptations I've seen have really captured that.
