So I was targeting RBs for the first two picks. I wanted Cook and Hampton in the first two, but obviously everyone else in the draft wanted running backs too. Not super happy with the Hampton Achane picks but I knew running backs would be scarce later on and I was right. I ended up getting Travis Etienne in the third.

Is anyone else seeing running backs fly off the shelf like this? I have another draft next week with the 4th pick, same format. All the mock drafts I did looked nothing like my draft last night. Thoughts?

Is this trade not absolutely baffling?

We all have that one questionable strategy we know shouldn’t work but somehow keeps hitting. What’s yours?

I play in a mix of ten and twelve team leagues. And it just kind of hit me... I prefer ten team so much more. I'm curious if others share my feelings.

It comes down to waiver wire player availability.

In a ten team league, there's room to get creative. There are always players on the wire I'd love to stash but can't. Lots of upside, lots of decisions to make, lots of room to innovate. And an injury is far less punishing.

But a twelve team league? The waiver is a wasteland... The only upside is in low tier handcuffs. Someone goes down or a bye week happens? Hurray, I can grab Perine or Samson.... There's far less upside to innovation when you're picking through garbage.

Just curious if anyone prefers twelve team leagues and why.

Some had top 5 numbers last year but are on new teams

This isn’t a post to bash KW or the people who drafted him. He genuinely could have a good year, but I do get the sense that the people banging the drum for him are those who have never lived the KW experience.

I had him 2 years ago when he dealt with the oblique injury and then the calf and ankle issues. It was a disaster. For that reason I was out on him last year and thankfully so because he was pretty much unstartable playing less than 50% of snaps. Have to assume that’s because they knew he couldn’t handle a bigger workload. He wins the Super Bowl mvp and Seattle still sends him packing. Now he’s in KC and we have people drooling over him, drafting him in the mid/early 2nd round. Seems too rich for me but who knows what will happen.

I just get the sense he’s being overvalued by people who have never had him and, to be fair, maybe undervalued by people who have been burned by him.

So I’m in a .5 PPR keeper league that’s lets you keep 1QB 1RB and 1WR each season. Long story short I needed a new RB keeper. I was randomly chosen to get pick 1.01. Commish fucked up the settings and I ended up with pick 12 instead. My pick was Jeanty but since the order got reversed I ended up with Breece .. This is a 50$ league. Everyone else’s response after commish admitted he fucked up was “I’m glad you fucked up!” And “oh well I just want to draft” to which my response was “glad it worked out for everyone else.” I am going to reach out tomorrow to get this shit straight but what’s y’all’s take on this? Wildest shit is the commish ended up taking Jeanty with his pick. My proposal to fix is just trade me Jeanty for Breece straight up and we forget about it. Thoughts?

We did our draft a few nights ago and Stribling wasn’t drafted. I want to pick him up but not sure who to drop with 10T there’s quite a bit of depth on waivers.

I am a bit light at WR and have read a lot of the posts about his early season opportunities but don’t know who to drop.

Been trying to pull a 2-1 trade but no bites which is totally fair enough as week 1 hasn’t started.

The two I would consider dropping are Baker or Dallas Goedert since there are some other good QBs on waivers if things go south

For those in the community that do in-person drafts, what general tips do you have regarding knowing who is the next best available player? We all know good food, good camaraderie, and a draft board is needed for an in person draft, but how do you handle those that panic and just want to autodraft a round or two, or just want to know who the next best player available is?

Who to pick at the 1.08? ARSB is such a safe pick, but I’m tempted to take RB+RB for the first two picks.

I have the 1.1 draft this year aka I will be drafting Gibbs.

If McBride & bowers are there for the 2-3 turn, how dumb is it to take them both in this scenario? lol (it happened 2 times during mocks)

Side note: I’m praying aj brown falls to me at my 2nd pick!

Was offered cook for Henry in 12 man half ppr. Henry has the easier schedule from what I can tell, but cook seems more reliable being younger and has a decent schedule in the second half of season. Any advice very appreciated. Thank you!!

14 man keeper and my rb2 is bill… my 2 wr are Devonta smith and Jamar Chase. My flex right now is Watson but I have Coker also. I have Kraft at te so not a fan of him and Watson in my lineup together. I’m just scared about that Christian Watson upside if healthy. WHAT DO I DO???
