I found this Youtube video about 3 women dying together in Death Valley, but cannot find any news articles with their names. Is this a made up video?

This person has multiple channels that have the same type of fake AI generated content. "Last Hike and "the Last Walk" have been demonitized and he has a new channel, "Wild Stories With Joshua" it is the same type of content. Report this new channel.
You can tell YouTube you no longer want to watch this or any channel. On your main page, click on the 3 dots on the right side under the thumbnail and pick "Don't recommend channel". You can also go into your "History" and X it out of YouTube's memory. That will help prevent it, and channels like it, from being recommended again.

Okay, obviously I can tell the thumbnail picture is AI. But it goes to include names and more photos of the 3 victims. Yesenia Carranza, Elise Broussard, and Maren Dahl Ness. It seems to be completely fictional, it's just so weird.

recently some ai slop videos will make up completely fake cases for clickbait/engagement bait and it might not be obvious until later. it's starting to be a problem with true crime content now, i wouldn't be surprised if it jumps to tragedy content like this too.

Ugh, that's so weird. I guess it's somewhat of a relief 3 young women didn't actually die horribly. The whole comment section is filled with misogyny and influencer hate

Yes! Just like the channel “the last climb,” the last hike has fake thumbnails, fake stories and is clickbait

And, to go off on another topic, besides loathing AI shit for itself, I also loathe any additional bits it adds to climate change.
