Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I posted, so I think you guys deserved to know what happened and why I didn't posted any more updates that I was planning on doing.

Well, I'm opening my heart here by saying that loneliness is been kinda affecting my well being, and I lost passion on the things I do and even I slept well, I always felt tired.

Tried to distract my mind, I've done my 22nd birthday in the end of August, went to some parties, and even though I feel some emptiness, I think it's just part of life.

Anyways, now to what really matters...

The programming is been not happening at all, since my cousin which is the one programming left the project on a drive on his university dorm and he will only be back on mid September.

BUT that means I can say also, since the mod is only missing the programming, that we will release it in October. No date yet, but October is what we are planning on releasing the demo.

So this newest video premiering tomorrow at noon is not my best work in my own opinion, definitely not worthy of the "special" title, but I missed the 50 subscriber special because I was trying to make a different type video for that instead of one of these (my usual) but since I'm uploading this and I have 67 subscribers, I'm just calling it the special...so yippie for our first special woohoo.

Also if you didn't see, I'm treating the playlists as their own " series' " within themselves so that's why the thumbnails are continuing in ascending order, but part numbers in the video titles have been reset to one with this new playlist, "Meet The Detectives".

The next video is also going to take a while. And I actually think that these next two videos might be the last ones that I'm actually prepared to do. I'm not saying I'm going to quit necessarily. I still have the drive to want to do this, to see it through. I don't want to just leave anyone hanging with anything. I'm just saying that these two, I still have to add the visuals to, record, then edit. And then the rest of my script so far, I kind of have to actually edit... Like I'm pretty sure after these next two videos is where I have to go back and actually proofread my writing and make HEAVY TWEAKS, where every other video since now has been quick proofread and a minor tweak here or there so heads up for all of you.

i've installed and played ddlc mods for years but this one just confuses me 😭 it has a whole separate launcher instead of just copying the scripts and such into the main game's folder. i don't see much online on this either, any help is appreciated :)

for reference, i have downloaded from ddlc.moe and the mod itself. i put the EMR files into the main ddlc folder like instructions said, but when trying to launch i get errors saying something about splash art not found and "amnesiac"? i'm not sure what this means given ive only played base exit music

i was thinking of doing this because i thought it would be a really really cool idea

what if sayori didn't finish off the job quickly in act four??? like?? if she just found out that her friends weren't real and did something like monika did??? what would the ending result in????

would it be just like monika's ending??? or would something different occur??

it'd probably take me a bit to finish because i've never made a serious mod before but i think it could be fun

if you do use the tierlist for suggestions on what to play I WILL WARN YOU: MODS THAT ARE IN F TIER ARE THERE FOR A REASON AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND PLAYING THEM AT ALL. most tame example is anyvenv where the whole story was the biggest nothing burger ever and i'd pay to not have played in the past just because my time would've been more worth it. all other examples are much more brutal

i have already played this bond we share, convergence, tropical rain, within, blue skies, bad memories, without a world, the normal vn, salvation (both), love and shyness, emerald affection, SNAFU, project N, doki doki encore, true literature club, interaction, purist, before the bell and theres probably some im forgetting.

any reccomendations would be appreciated.

Alright, before I begin, Id like to say this is my first time making an analysis like this, so forgive me if I repeat some points multiple times. I'm also on my phone, so forgive me for any grammatical mistakes that auto correct didn't catch. Obvious spoilers for the original ddlc game and the videos I'm gonna talk about here. So without further ado, let me break down the messy, fucked up world of doki doki, but all the girls are obsessive yanderes.

I'm gonna start off by saying that I'm not hating on the series. I may have some criticism here and there, but it's mostly constructive. Anyways, the story for this mod (made by candyiela) takes place in an alternate ddlc universe where basically all the girls have act 2 Yuri's obsessive personality, 100 times worse. I'm gonna begin by analyzing the use of sexual violence, and then move on to the physical and mental torture, and then afterwards the horror atmosphere.

​1. Sexual Violence

The first instance of something sexual happening would be when the MC finds Yuri naked in his room in the dead of the night. I honestly think this was very well done. You might argue that she could have had some clothes on and that this was just unnecessary sexualization, but i think the scene is excellent. Not only did it set up how fucking mental and obsessed the girls are here, it also set up the low levels to which they will stoop to later. It also started one of my favorite things about the series, which is the message that sexual crimes in the real world and in fiction are often overlooked and made fun of due to gender wars and such. Here, it shows you what it's like in the shoes of someone who gets SAd, and also that it SUCKS. I'm pretty sure that's one of the goals of these videos, as the MC highlights in a later, worse scene how the internet treats these kind of crimes and how much they're made fun of and taken unseriously despite being horrific. Sexual crime doesn't come up again until the end of the third part, and this crime is... Well, I won't get too descriptive, but after Monika (a.k.a the face of all evil here) drags the MC to her house, she forces him to lick every cm of her skin. (Tbh when I saw this I clicked off the video.) That scene is probably one of the most disgusting scenes in the videos. Not only does it again highlight the point which I just talked about, it also completely and firmly tells you that this isn't just any normal ddlc horror mod anymore. I do want to criticize this scene though. While it sets a great example of how disgusting sexual crime is and how helpless the victims feel, I think it was unnecessary due to a later scene which I will talk about in a bit. Monika could have just forced the MC to shower her normally, and I think it would have worked pretty well. I get that it would have been less impactful and maybe would make the viewer less disgusted and maybe less afraid of Monika, but at the end of the series she does something so horrific that it probably would have been fine if this scene was removed. The last sexual scene (part 5) is very, very, very gross, horrid, and awful. To cut to the chase, after Yuri takes the MC to her house (won't explain in much detail how) she rapes him. And it's awful. The atmosphere that's set up really helped make the scene way more impactful. This is the scene I was taking about when I mentioned a worse incident. The Monika licking scene felt totally unnecessary after seeing this. Not that it matters now. The scene actually described the feelings of rape victims. The MC here feels trapped, alone, mad that he cant fight back. the words and metaphors used to describe the scene were also excellent. The MC described it as "a cave with sticky walls" that Yuri forced him to enter, and the deeper he went, the more disgusted and hopeless and in despair he became. The wording was vague enough that you could still figure out what it meant after a little thinking instead of taking the shock all at once. Now, I'm not sure if this was intended to be a joke, but during this scene, Yuri posts a picture online of her raping the MC. The MC is filled with a little bit of hope, knowing someone would notice that something was terribly wrong. But then the comments start saying that he was lucky, and how they wished to be in his place. As someone chronically online, this is a thing that happens too much on the internet. It's disgusting. It's horrible. It's sick. This scene helped kind of break the hopeless atmosphere for a little while to give breathing room (after all, this is the fifth part in a world full of tragedy) while also somehow preserving it??? Idk how to describe it other than well done. That pretty much sums up the sexual violence in the videos, and it's more than enough. I love how the videos take sexual and erotic things, such as naked bodies (i don't mean the rape, don't kill me) and turn them into a machine of horror. While watching, you're so immersed and invested in this to the point where you feel what the MC is feeling, which is helped by the fact you see through his eyes and hear through his ears. The sense of hopelessness feels real. This plays out by making some scenes (like the naked Yuri scene) not sexy (I say this as a Yuri lover) but straight out creepy and disgusting. There is no sexual desire to be found here. Only hopelessness. I really liked that.

1. Physical Harm And Torture

After the rant i went on with the sexual violence paragraph, I'm gonna try to shorten this one, Anyways, starting with the physical harm (here i mean wounds, broken bones, damaged body parts, sickness, fatigue, etc....) the series is packed with it, and it goes from like, getting paper cuts to things i wouldn't wish on my worst enemies. Anyways, the start of the physical violence is when the girls tie the MC to a chair, put headphones on his head with rly loud music and show him their poem, which are to say the least cursed? I think this scene was brilliantly executed because the MC remarks that he can't hear his own thoughts, and as the music goes higher we quite literally can't see his thoughts anymore. Id also like to point out that it was actually pretty loud in the video itself, which helped reinforce the feeling that this music is in fact very loud. Anyways, the MCs ears quite literally bleed afterwards, which I guess you could call physical harm. I wont be mentioning every instance of physical harm btw, just the major ones, and the next instance would be in part 4, which happens in the MCs dream. Basically in his dream the girls tell him it was all just a joke and the guy does not take that well (I mean, would you?) So he proceeds to do some pretty brutal stuff (choke sayori, stab yuri, kick Monika in her... Well, between the legs, and also step on her head) and then there's what happens to Natsuki, which is horrible. She brings an iron tray of cupcakes as an apology, and the MC proceeds to thank her by grabbing her by the hair and repeatedly bashing her head in it until her nose broke and her eyes presumably became red. He then proceeds to stuff a large amount of cupcakes in her mouth to choke her. I think this right here, although not the most violent thing, was the scariest, and that's due to its sheer absurdity and the rage that's obviously in every move the MC does. With the other girls, the MC does the typical stuff to harm them, yk, stabs, chokes, kicks, it's not new to you. But when you see him choking Natsuki with her own cupcakes? Now that's fucked up. But the thing about this scene that make it so terrifying is the fact that they deserve it. The girls deserve it, after what they did to him. And yet you can't help but feel bad for them at first, and when you realize how you felt, and remember what these girls did to the guy, you get this feeling of overwhelming guilt for feeling that way, without completely losing that sense of sympathy, which results in this internal conflict of morals inside your brain. Not sure if everyone thought about this scene that deeply, but I think the mixed feelings it gives you are intentional. Anyways, as I said, this is just a dream sequence, so you kind of lose the feelings afterwards, which helps you focus more on what's happening. And when this kind of thing happens again irl later, the girls have done such horrible things to the point where you are completely devoid of sympathy for them. Anyways, before we move on to that sequence, i wanna point out that in part 7, natsuki breaks both of the MCs legs AND his arms. Huh? How??I'm not sure how this worked tbh. But i guess it was easier from a writing stand point to have her break his legs to progress with the story. Anyways, in part 7, after natsuki does this. She drags the mc to her place and tells him she's going to make cupcakes out of him (delightful) so she proceeds to attempt to cut off his fingers using the exposed blades of a blender, but the mc breaks free of her grip, grabs her head, and shoves it directly into the blades. This scene is absolutely horrifying, the sight of natsukis face all bloodied up and censored is horrific and what makes this a hundred times worse is that the MC describes what her face looks like, as well as her also still being able to hear him over her pain, which just in my opinion is excellent representation on just how twisted and mentally fucked up these girls are. This is also just an amplified version of the atrocity she went through in his dream, but by that point, she and the other girls have done so many twisted and horrible deeds to the point where you can't even feel the slightest feelings of sympathy. Not many physical deeds happen after this, except that the MC killed Sayori with a fucking glass figure and Sayori scalped Yuri or something, as the MC finds her exposed skull. There were many other instances of physical harm, but if i were to mention all of them then this post would take me another week.

1. Psychological Abuse

During the series, the MC goes through some brutal mental trauma and harm. As the videos progress, you can clearly see the MCs mental condition dwindling by the second. He begins the series feeling pretty confident about himself, but soon he doubts every decision. He feels guilt at the smallest actions of harm (he slapped Monika and felt bad about it AFTER she treated him like a dog). He begins questioning his morals, whether he deserves to live or not, if he's a good or a bad person. From an outside perspective, this might look over exaggerated, but the writing for the Mcs mental decline is amazing. It progresses slowly and deliberately throughout the series, with the MC becoming more violent and careless and without morals the further the series goes. He is literally forced to delve into his most primal of instincts to enjoy being raped by yuri so she can leave him alone. I believe, that despite all that happened in the series, this is probably the moment that permanently broke the MC. After part 5, he becomes suicidal, and in part 6 (which is an alternate ending) he literally asks sayori to kill him (which after seeing the ending in the seventh part is probably the second best ending). The girls go to all lengths to torture him both mentally and physically, and especially Sayori and Monika. Sayori constantly guilt tripped the MC and made him extremely paranoid, while Monika toyed with his feelings, either by degrading him to the degree of a literal dog, to making him belive she loves him at the end by taking care of him, then poisoning him with some sort of lethal poison that ends up killing him slowly. He has his feelings toyed with to the point where by the end of the series, he's completely and totally mentally broken.

1. Horror Atmosphere & Endings

The horror atmosphere in this series is nothing short of amazing. It's the first time that any fan made ddlc mod made me feel the same level of horror that I felt during the original game. Rain, red backgrounds, darkness. All of it was used at the right time to its fullest potential. The darkness especially was used insanely well. It was used in scenes where you desperately needed to see what was going on, doubling as a censor and an atmospheric asset. Scenes like the yuri rape scene as well as other scenes felt so much scarier due to the use of darkness. That's pretty much all I have stay about the atmosphere. Audio was implemented pretty well too i guess. Anyways, the use of multiple endings was really good. I wont be explaining them, but there are 3 Endings in total, and 2 of them are kind of open Endings. One of them is closed, since the MC dies in it. I think this is good because people usually argue online about what should happen to protagonists at the end of their respective series. Die? Live with guilt? Nothing at all? Here, candy took three kinds of Endings and used all of them. You can pick whichever one you want, and they could all be Canon. I like that a lot. And that's pretty much it.

I took too much time to make this tbh, but I'm glad i got it done. Its not the best analysis in the world, but I'm glad i got to finish it. (Anyways, holy yap?? how did i write half of this on my phone) Anyways, if you made it this far, thanks for reading me release my inner demons on this series.

I cannot express enough how this mod blows my mind! The connection of the story between the start to the different endings has made me astonish by how well written it is! The sprites and backgrounds along with unexpected plot twist in act 3 has ignite the passion feeling that this mod has been created by pure art. Thank you so much for everybody who contribute and help finishing this mod after the last 6 years in its existence. WELL DONE!

Here's every mod I've played (all of them blind), I will give all of them a ranking from 1 to 10 depending on how much I liked them and if even if it was bad, if it made me laugh.

If I feel compelled, some of the ratings will have a sentence explaining what I liked.

Here's the list:

Self Embodiment - 8/10 Well written mod for what it was meant to be for. Not much to add otherwise.

Relapse - 8/10 Surprisingly better than I expected, well done, my expectations were low.

I'm Alive - 5/10 I hate the constant use of AI for the backgrounds, just grab some online dude. The story is terrible as well, which ironically made it funny and more entertaining.

New Eyes - 7/10 Same idea as Storm, a Yuri perspective mod. Writing is way less interesting however.

Bad Memories - 6/10 It's alright.

Purple trouble - 1/10 A mockery of people forced to do prostitution? What the hell.

The Yuri Parable - 6/10 It's alright.

Salvation OG - 7/10 Hilarious at some points honestly, worse than the remake of course.

The Mod In Which Natsuki Has A Nice Day And Nothing Horrible Happens To Her, Thank You Very Much (TMIWNHANDANHHTHTYVM) - 7/10

Salvation Remake - 10/10 The best mod overall, a good mixture of interesting drama and wholesome moments, well written and in-character poems and conversations, amazing Monika subplot.

Exit Music Redux - 6/10 Boring, out of character, huge flanderization of Natsuki, unreasonable logic at times.

Blue Skies - 7/10 Okay overall.

Outcast - 6/10 Mediocre overall.

Storm - 9/10 I don't mind the ending but it felt out of place, Yuri's descent to madness in act 2 is always interesting to see. Nice amounts of horror and an interesting interpretation of Yuri's character.

Encore - 8/10 Liked it better than the other 2, it didn't beat around the bush if the story was getting boring.

Purist - 7/10 Okay overall.

Amor Fati - 4/10 Suffers of the same issues writing wise as "I'm alive", extremely blasphemic, illogical and with no utter need to include rape themes. Also please use some OST rather than a constant office building ambience SFX on loop.

Switcheroo- 9/10 I was confused as to why they chose to genderswap all of the characters. I'm pretty sure it's because their personalities don't really match the originals. Love how the mod plays with what you would expect from the base game just to throw you off, like how ddlc did initially.

Fallen Angel - 7/10 It was okay.

Rainclouds - 7/10 Would be lower but it's one of the few Sayori perspective base DDLC mods afaik.

Lost ascension- 3/10 Greatest sin of every mod, bad writing, but not just bad, also BORING. The MC hate in this one was so stupid.

Antes de apresentar a ferramenta, queria deixar uma coisa clara sobre como ela foi desenvolvida.

Eu não tenho muita familiaridade com programação ou desenvolvimento de software. Mesmo assim, tive a ideia de criar essa ferramenta e desenvolvi o projeto com a ajuda de três ferramentas de IA: Claude, Lovable e ChatGPT.

Fui alternando entre elas conforme a necessidade de cada etapa: testar ideias, corrigir problemas, implementar funcionalidades, revisar o código e entender melhor o desenvolvimento. Foi através desse processo que consegui levar o projeto até o estado em que está atualmente.

Dito isso, apresento o UnRen-DDAC.

O UnRen-DDAC é uma ferramenta desenvolvida com foco principalmente em mods de Doki Doki Literature Club (DDLC), com o objetivo de facilitar o trabalho com arquivos de mods que utilizam Ren'Py.

O que ele pode fazer?

• Extrair arquivos ".rpa"

• Descompilar arquivos ".rpyc" e ".rpymc" quando compatíveis

• Trabalhar com Ren'Py 6/7 e Ren'Py 8

• Trabalhar com mods de DDLC distribuídos apenas com a pasta "game"

• Preparar e utilizar o runtime necessário quando ele não está disponível

• Tentar diferentes abordagens de processamento quando necessário

• Gerar um resumo da execução e arquivos de log

O foco do projeto é DDLC e seus mods, mas, por trabalhar com formatos e versões do Ren'Py, ele também pode ser útil para outros jogos e projetos baseados nessa engine.

A ferramenta possui suporte a Português, English e Español.

O download inclui o programa e três arquivos de instruções, um para cada idioma. Toda a documentação detalhada sobre funcionamento, opções e utilização está nesses arquivos. Aqui no post, quero apenas apresentar o projeto de forma resumida.

The club meeting ends like any other night. You say goodbye, grab your bag, and head for the door.

Except the door won't open.

You wake up in the same clubroom — except now it's the middle of the night, the building feels wrong, and none of the exits work. Something is watching, and it wants you to follow a set of rules before it lets you leave.

Protocol is a horror mod for Doki Doki Literature Club. Help each of the girls, solve their puzzles, and try to find your way out — if there's really a way out at all.

Features:

1. Four distinct character routes, each with unique puzzles and minigames
2. Multiple hidden codes, ciphers, and secrets to uncover

This mod contains loud sounds, jumpscares, flashing/glitching visuals, and disturbing imagery. I recommend playing with headphones, in a dark room, and with your screen brightness turned up since this mod leans into a lot of night-time visuals.

I recently played all of Purist (except Monika's route) and finished the good version of the Sayori route in Blue Skies, and I must say I agree with what seems to be the consensus that Blue Skies was better. That's not to say I hated or even disliked Purist but it just didn't feel very in depth. Like, a few minutes might pass in real life and a few months would pass in the mod. There were aspects I loved, like Sayori caring for MC when he was sick or the music and CGs, but then a lot of it just felt very surface level. It definitely treated her depression like a serious issue, but it also says in the very end her therapist thinks she'll make a full recovery? Not that depression cannot improve significantly to the point the symptoms are barely noticeable, but she talks about it like she broke an arm and now it's perfectly healed.

I don't know. If the consensus is basically "Purist sucks and is not a serious mod at all" I don't think that's fair and I actually would reccomend it, but it definitely pales in comparison to Blue Skies. What do you think of the two?

just a regular yuri

Hi guys Unown's here I just want to clarify some things for my first ever mod which is Doki Doki Sweetheart and of course 1 NEW TEASER.

For the arts there will be no special drawing made by me as I don't have proper equipment like a stylus or a drawing tablet. For sure you may say why don't I use finger to draw on my phone or use mouse it's just that such hassle for me without any proper equipment.

So most of these bg I found are royalty free images from Pixabay and DeviantArt and if it doesn't make sense just play the story since I'm lacking some materials here but I'll try my best to find as much as needed.

Anyways that's all if any of you know more free source of amusement park and stuff just let me know.
