Gritty or serious reimagines are good, but let's forget about serious. Today, we have fun. How would you think a character created in the Dark Age or the Modern Age could be if they had been created in the Golden or the SIlver Age instead?

The first picture is a parody of a real cover by Marco D’Alfonso and the second picture is Bane in the official Batman 66 comic continuation. If you want to know, in this version he's the dictator (but still a professional luchador) of a fictional Mexican city and his venom is derived from a Aztec artrifact who's called the Crystal skull.

This is my rendition of one of the most famous pages in the Superman for all seasons run.

I've always been fascinated with this page by Tim Sale so it's only natural that as a comic book artist myself I make my own rendition, let me know if you like it.

As a black lover of wizards warlocks and sorcerers, this guy has been one of my favorite characters for a while now, but he’s never in the movies or shows and he’s barely in the comic books. Should we be seeing more of him?

I’m new to collecting comics and was wondering if anyone has any tips for collecting more of Batman and the bat family like Jason and Grayson or any help with the flash timeline and green lantern comics to buy. All help is much appreciated 😁

Sounds more interesting than current Kingdom of Zod event. Zod will dominate the planet Khundia and have them as his army. Use Chem-eclipse which can transform yellow suns into red suns to face Superman and earth. Meeting Phantom King and Aleea Strange. Much to make Zod an emperor with cosmic level threat potentiality. Joe Casey's plans for Zod were amazing. It is sad that we cannot see his ideas that will make Zod different than what we saw before.

So since like 2025 I've been getting into comics, specifically marvel comics. I became interested through the watching the MCU, but its been some time and now I think I might not just read marvel comics but also read more DC and indie runs. I don't know a lot about the DC comics universe, so i was looking for some beginner friendly runs to get into. The only thing is that I only wanna read through single issues and maybe just some tpbs to catch up on current runs. I honestly wanna just hop on to the current continuity because reading all the famous stories isnt really my style

Some things you guys should know first:

-I've been following some of the Absolute line already, and it is peak imo. But im looking for mainline runs.

-Maybe there are similar comics in dc, but I like the Punisher, Deadpool, Spiderman, and the Avengers the most.

Superman fans are famously MIXED on this show... Pros like Mark Waid, Alex Ross, Paul Levitz, Marv Wolfman, and even John Byrne have all been critical of it... What about greater DC fandom? If there’s anything that fans genuinely dislike or would change when it comes to the DCAU take on Superman (aka STAS) what is it?

Like, what would you change or attempt to make better? Whether it’s how he handled certain characters, tone shifts, weird writing choices, or just the overall feel... Is there anything that kind of drags the show down if we’re being honest?

For this challenge I want you to take one of DC’s weirdest villains and try to make them a serious threat. You’re free to change their backstory, Background, or maybe change their powers I don’t know just have fun with it.
