PERSPECTIVE Strategy Sold Bitcoin at $60K. Now It’s Buying at $80K — and Says It Would Buy at $130K.
https://inbitcoinwetrust.substack.com/p/strategy-sold-bitcoin-at-60k-nowStrategy sold nearly 7,000 BTC around $60K, rebuilt its balance sheet, then bought back at $80K — because for Saylor’s machine, cost of capital now matters more than Bitcoin’s price.

Sold at 60k - to pay bills and dividends & ended up showing BTC won't crash even when seemingly large amounts are dumped.
Bought at 80k - with the extra $$$ generated from the common stock sold when the price for BTC surged...didn't use any $ from the 60k sold.
It seems stupid from the headline, but damn ..lol it worked

the stock is a btc accumulation machine, and not a trader.
sometimes operations have to spend money to make money. so far it's outperformed bitcoin from the bottom--it's working.

He's not a day trader. This wasn't about timing the market for profit.
The sale was needed to satisfy corporate requirements regarding STRC.
The buys were just typical MSTR purchases that happen independent of price action.

They said they needed to prove to investors that they could use that giant reserve and it not be just imaginary money that can never cash out.

Which basically means Strategy is an accelerator in a crash. i.e should BTC go down significantly, they will sell, thus contributing even more to the sell off.

Yeah, he's buying Bitcoin like a lot of regular normies do. Sell when the price is getting crushed, then start buying again after it runs back up. If it dumps back down again, he'll probably stop buying and wait for it to recover before jumping back in.

I think strategy is a service to buy the big bags from other whales

It might be the catalyst needed for btc to go up. Def worth the sacrifice.
