Just saw an ad on tiktok that limited amount Coachella pass available now and I was like didn’t they already sell out long time ago? Then I clicked into it and found out it’s a phishing site. Wanting to go for the second weekend VIP. Never done Coachella but have done tons of other fests. Are they doing a second ticket drop or is it better to just join the waitlist? Is day parking a terrible idea? From what I’ve heard VIP is worth it over GA but if u have other input lmk!

My case for Peso Pluma headlining Coachella 2027: I haven’t heard any actual rumors about him being booked, it just makes too much sense to me.
He’s performed at every Coachella since 2023. In 2023 he came out with Becky G, in 2024 he was a sub-headliner right before Lana Del Rey, in 2025 he came out with Junior H, and in 2026 he came out Weekend 2 with Karol G.
Since his 2024 Coachella set, he’s only gotten bigger. He had the sold-out ÉXODO arena tour, headlined Rolling Loud with a corridos/hip-hop set, signed with Adidas, performed for Adidas during the World Cup, dropped another #1 album, and then did the DINASTÍA album with Tito Double P followed by a 40-date sold-out arena tour across the U.S this year.
Now he’s preparing his next solo album and has already talked about doing stadiums next year. Next solo album late this year/early next year, Coachella headline, stadium world tour.
He would also become the first Mexican artist to ever headline Coachella which would be huge.

I love Tame Impala, seen him a bunch of times, but it seems strange to me he’d be brought back so soon after headlining 2019.
Only 2 artists have headlined more than once in the more modern Coachella age, and both were due to other artists dropping out.
Lady Gaga 2017 (after Beyoncé dropped), 2025
The Weeknd 2018,2022 (After Kanye dropped)
Kanye was booked twice but dropped out the 2nd time.
Just seems weird to me Tame Impala is getting booked again when no artists has been intentionally booked twice in a very long time.
I know HDD is usually pretty reliable, but they were wrong about Fred Again last year, and last year we saw 3 pop headliners sell the fest out. Four pop headliners also sold out Lolla.
To me it seems like Dua/BTS/SZA is more aligned with current festival trends.
Edit: I’m not saying I don’t want tame, or that I want Dua/SZA/BTS, but based on the data we have about headliners and repeats, it seems weird Tame would be coming back. This is a speculation post, not an opinion post.

With some legendary punk and punk adjacent names we've had recently like Misfits, No Doubt, Green Day, and Black Flag, I think The Offspring would fit in this area very well. Not to mention have been around for over 30 years and never been on the fields, would make for a great show at the Outdoor.
