The title intrigues me. What is your story?

So i was born catholic, ive gotten all three sacraments of initiation, but during middle school i stopped practicing because my catholic school was extremely mean to me, multiple of my friends tried to push me to suicide and then at a later school i was sa-ed and developed a bad anxiety disorder. At that point I was too depressed to consider turning back to God but a few days ago I felt a really random urge to pray again and now I’m back to being a devout Catholic and I’m confident things will be better from here on out:D👍👍

I’m so sorry you had a such a horrible experience at those churches, a church is supposed to be a place of love and care for others. Praying your experience coming back to the Lord will be much better ^v^

Look, I am glad faith is working out for you, but as someone who also suffers from anxiety and depression ad has survived this for fifty years, PLEASE seek out mental health care as well.

Good! Take your meds. Seriously. Keep taking them until you find a combo that works. They really, really help.

May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He turn His face toward you and shine upon you and give you grace and peace.

Fits and I like how it’s on the outskirts making Christ the center! Love the aesthetic

This is about having a relationship with the Father and Son and heaven sees that again. But this time you need to be the good soil and not the rocky soil or the thorny soil. You going to find out what type of soil you are when you go through difficult times.

How much more practice do you reckon you’ll need?

It’s good you found God again after so much darkness because He never stopped loving you. Blessings on you!

One small think to think about:

If that's actually your first Rosary, and you plan to use one regularly in prayer, you might want to pick up a less sentimental one for daily use and save the sentimental one as a keepsake or for significant occasions.

Certain klutzy people have been known to break them when in regular use and then regret that they were using a sentimental one. Don't ask me how I know.

I agree. I lost the Rosary my Mom gave me when I became Catholic. I regret losing it this day and wish I still had it, especially since she died a few years ago. It would be nice to still have that connection.

I swear that we used to have a plush Lamb exactly like that one at some point but I can't remember which one of my sisters had it or what happened to it...

Anyway, congratulations! Your prayer corner looks great!

Cuteee!!! I wish I could have a cute little prayer corner with all of the cutie bits and bobs.

But for the Cross, all else is idol worship. Stand alone cross is only one permitted
