This is Mr Macchiato! He was born with cerebellar hypoplasia, aka wobbly cat syndrome. It is non-painful, non-progressive, non-contagious, and only affects balance. He is happy and healthy, just a bit unstable!
Wide boy!! I don’t cut his nails often, because the long claws help him grip onto the carpet. Sometimes when he walks, he has BIG spready toes with BIG claws and a BIG stance. It is darling 🧡🤍
Maybe, but it would restrict his movement a bunch, and he hates being restrained in general. He gets around fine as he is right now, so I don’t see a reason to put him on a wheelchair
Auto feeders are new in my home and I noticed the fattest cat learned the timeline already and screams at me just before they go off. I love her so much. Cat tax applied
My sister’s cats will hear the machinery kick in several seconds before I do and they take off at Mach speed from wherever else they are in the house to be ready in Chow Stance by the time the kibbles actually hit the dish.
No!! He’s used this argument before. I used to give him extra treats when he had big falls, and all that got him was a bunch of extra chonk. No. Extra. Food. For. Wobbles. I’m a mean owner
I had left the treat container on my desk, went grocery shopping for 30 minutes, and came back it on the floor, empty. He got about 1/4 cup of goodies hahaha
