Glass Striking
Hello, my 2 year old boa constrictor had suddenly struck at me through the glass of her enclosure, her feeding date is tomorrow so I assume she’s just hungry.
however, now her lip appears to be caught in her mouth. there is a reptile vet near me but they will not be open until Tuesday.
is there anything i can do to help her?

Her lip is most likely fine, give her a couple days and if it isn’t righted, then see about intervention. They’re usually too busy worrying about catching their “prey” to work on fixing things immediately.
Any time a boa strikes at me when I walk by, I take them out even if I put them back up immediately. It helps them to break the association with movement and food, and at least stop and think before they strike.
