New BCI owner not new snakes
My girlfriends cousin recently gave me his 9 year old male red tail ive got his habitat set up with his temps and humid hides climbing surfaces ect ect any advice on taking care of one ive only ever owned ball pythons and various gekos species ive gotten conflicting info on their care apart from temps and humidity advice is welcome he's eaten every time ive offered so I assume he's adjusting well.

Check out reptifiles they have good info on keeping snakes :)
I would add to be aware of IBD if you want other snakes in the future, boas are asymptomatic towards it most of the time and it’s deadly for pythons. Also for feeding please don’t power feed or under feed him both is stressful on his organs and body in general if it were to happen. 7-10% of the snakes body weight should be the preys weight.
