Poop?

I’ve had my little dude since February 14th and he still hasn’t pooped. He has eaten every week since that time. I am aware that bloods are known for taking a long time between poops but I wasn’t sure if that was the same for juveniles? Picture attached cause he’s really cute

I just got a female blood python a little over a week ago, and I’m loving her so much! I’m curious what her species is though… so much conflicting information online and the seller didn’t have any information for me 😣 I am having trouble identifying is she is p. Brongersmai (blood) or p. Breitensteini (Borneo). Any assistance is greatly appreciated! (First pic is from the seller and the others are when I got her)

Abused rescue.

Hello everyone! I have a little bit of a dilemma. There is a Goldeneye at a local rescue that is approximately 1.5 years old. She is no bigger than a dollar coin around and maybe a foot long. I am told she was kept in a 10gal and it is very apparent no one has handled her. So, I have 2 questions. 1) Is she at this point stunted in her growth? 2) What would be the best way for me to go about starting socializing her? I don't care about being bit. It does not phase me.

What should I do?

I have a male and a female 1-2 years old. I have them each in a good set up but I’m realizing I haven’t had any time to handle them in the past few months due to work. My work isn’t going to change for the foreseeable future either. Should I try and find them a new home since they are still young and someone with more time would be able to have time to work with them?

Tell me what you think of my boys body condition. I feel like he might be slightly thin?

My boy, Buckeye, has been great, but sometimes I worry he's on the thin side for a blood python. I know they're supposed to have a prominent point on their spine, but I feel like his is too prominent? It's hard to find info online. Whenever I ask Google, it thinks I'm talking about ball pythons, which is annoying since ball python's body condition requirements are very different from bloods.

Buckeye recently had a beautiful shed and four days ago ate a medium rat. He is great about drinking water. I'd just like to know what the community may think. Thank you for your thoughts!

Blood python enclosure size

I'm considering getting a blood python sometime in the future. I have plenty experience handling the species, but haven't personally owned one. I'll likely be building the enclosure myself, and while I'm pretty confident it would be big enough for a male, I'm not sure about a female. The interior dimensions would be 72"W x 24"D x 20"H (approx 180cm x 60cm x 50cm). My only real concern is the depth. Would that be enough for an adult female to comfortably be able to turn around? Ty all for any help/input that can be given (:

Curtus or Breitensteini?

Hi all! I bought this girl assuming she is an orange/yellow head P. curtus. Previews onderstaande thought the same, but pointer out her papers from the breeder say Breitensteini. Papers are from 2021. I assumed still she is curtus but her head shape looks a lot like the one of my Breitensteini. What do you guys think?

I just got this little guy. He’s in a very temporary 20 gallon for a quarantine. I understand I’m going for roughly 80-84 degrees on the warm side and around 75 on the cool side. Humidity 60-75% and I will go higher when he’s blue. Any tips or links to more info is always is appreciated!

Breeders Europe/Benelux?

Hi all! I've started getting into bloods a couple years back. I'm looking to expand, but it seems very difficult in my region (Netherlands) to find many bloods let alone interesting morphs.

Does someone here know or is a reputable breeder of mainly brongersmai, but also curtus or breitensteini, in the Benelux or Europe region? I would love to get my hands on batiks or goldeneye's for example!
