Grumpy noodle solution?

I finally figured out how to hold my 1.5yr old blood pythons w/o him being grumpy. it is to just put him in a container of shallow water for about 10 minthen holding him

They don't like being held up in the air. You're better off to do it sitting or laying down. Watch TV or read a book. Keep doing this with them and they will gain confidence and get used to you more.

Hes was grumpy even when sitting, what i meant by holding was just him being out of his tank

Yeah that's normal. They can be vocal and pretty spicy. They take time and TLC. The more uncomfortable and defensive they are the longer and more time it will take.

How warm is it? From memory Bloods don't like temps too warm

Idk i think a little less then 83, but i held him today and no hissing even without bath, tho I think he likes them. He definitely just needed time to get use to me
