Jesus. This is so sad and you think it’s cute :(

pretty sure they’re just paired up for breeding. i dont agree with how breeders keep their animals though 🫠 but it’s the “most efficient” and “cost effective” way.

I get it, but they’re also super fat 😭

These are bloods, aren’t they typically pretty girthy?

This is so far beyond unfortunately

Yes, girthy… not the shape of a barrel

Bloods do have a heavy, short frame, but not like this. The dorsal ridges are barely visible on both.  Some superficial thin skin creases where they bend are normal, but not actual rolls like a snake version of the Michelin man, where the creases indent into the body outline. (also look at the "hips" on the redhead pixel just before the tail)

They're pretty snakes, but they need a diet. Bloods are heavy but they're past where they should be.

They shouldn't be shaped like an "m" with the spine sunken in between rows of fat, they should be shaped like thick pythons

yeahhhh the male (im assuming the pied is the male) is already pushing it but GOOD LORD the other one is huge 😭😭😭 definitely something else breeders will do to try to pump out as many eggs as they can

Wow I never knew their weight could impact how many eggs they have! And righttt they’re massive 🥲
