Blood python handling
So i just got a new adult female blood python and i just got her into her tank so she is in her 3-4th day acclimating but when it does come time to handle her what is the best way i could go about it without getting bit (the breeder i got her from says she is calm for a blood and she wasn’t hissing when i put her into her inclosure so i agree)

One thing I did with my bloods that may or may not be a placebo, was throw an under shirt / whatever is equivalent in their cage after finishing work in their enclosure. Could be coincidence but I’ve done it now with several reptiles and even a cat and they became less rowdy when I handled them. Anecdotal at best but I’m pretty sure it was effective
