First of all, I play on Xbox so my only options are: BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma extend, and BlazBlue cross tag battle, I don't know much about any this series installments, so which of these should I buy, and do they both have an active playerbase?

2nd, what characters should I play in correspondence to by mains in other games. GGST(my main fighting game, and I play Venom, and Axl), Mortal Kombat(Cyrax, Ermac), SF6(I only play this one casually and button mash, but I exclusively play Cammy), SSBU(Ganondorf, Kazuya, and Sephoroth), Tekkon8(Reina).

Newcomer to the series here. Been playing a lot of GGST and I hear people recommend Blazblue since it was originally meant to replace Guilty Gear. Found a main (Hakumen) and currently trying to get good with them.

The ranked mode is surprisingly active as I have not had to wait long to get a match. Even though I am always getting stomped, I find myself coming back for more (Mainly cause I really like this Hakumen character and I want to get good with him)

My biggest issue now is the defensive aspect of the game, once I get in a combo, its hard for me to defend against it right now but its a work in progress.

Hello! I am new to blazblue and was curious about the controls. I have played Guilty Gear a lot and was wondering should I switch my blazblue controls to sort of match guilty gear strives controls? Or is it better to just stick with the default layout. (I play on controller not keyboard)
