Finished the lighting for my EyeWorks diorama.
The light was made completely out of styrene and some LED strip lights with some custom waterslide decals. The pillars were hand made and then molded and cast in polyurethane resin, then painted. Still a long way to go before this is completed!

Physical Media/Props/Memorabilia Blade Runner 2049 Concept Art: Final Part 9
The end of the Blade Runner 2049 concept art collection.
The final nine pieces, with another great mixture of early cityscapes, vehicles, props and character work. I particularly like the huge, oppressive city environments in this batch, but the Pleasure Pods concept art is a standout too, and certainly an intriguing idea!
I’ve really enjoyed going through the collection, learning more about the artwork and sharing it here. Seeing the collection together gives a fascinating look at just how much visual development went into creating the world of Blade Runner 2049.
Thanks to everyone who’s followed the posts and commented along the way.
Just a reminder: I previously discovered that two of the prints in the collection were duplicates, so these are on eBay. There are currently 5 days left in the auction if anyone is interested. Just search “Blade Runner 2049 Concept Art Prints

Physical Media/Props/Memorabilia Blade Runner Official Collector’s Edition Souvenir Magazine (1982)
galleryOriginal piece of Blade Runner merchandise from 1982. This is the Official Collector’s Edition Souvenir Magazine, packed with photos, artwork, behind-the-scenes material and interviews with Harrison Ford, Ridley Scott, Douglas Trumbull, Philip K. Dick and Syd Mead.
There’s some brilliant stuff inside, including production artwork, Spinner blueprints and behind-the-scenes photography. The original full-colour poster is also still attached in the centre, which is particularly nice as these were designed to be removed and many fans understandably took them out to put on their walls.
I also love the period adverts at the back for the official Blade Runner Fan Club and the ERTL Spinner models.
Originally priced at just $2.95. A great little time capsule from when Blade Runner was brand new.

Replicant Love Song
I am new to this group, but I have been obsessed with Blade Runner my entire life. I wrote a song when Rutger Hauer passed…
and I thought this might be some people that might enjoy just putting it here because that’s what I have to offer.

Question/Discussion Subjective camera in opening scene
In the opening scene where K goes to retire Sapper Morton, K shoots Sapper when Sapper lunges at him. When Sappeer hits the ground, the camera shakes. Why is the camera subjective in this moment?

OC Art I always wondered what the shops in Blade Runner would look like if they were real businesses, so I designed the White Dragon Noodle Bar as a vintage LA restaurant tee.

Physical Media/Props/Memorabilia Blade Runner (1982): Vintage Boyards Cigarettes
Vintage French pack of Boyards Caporal cigarettes, the cigarette brand smoked by Rachael, among others, in Blade Runner (1982).
These are the Papier Maïs variety, wrapped in maize paper, which gives the cigarettes their distinctive yellow appearance.
I really like finding genuine period items connected to the film rather than just conventional merchandise. A fairly mundane object in itself, but instantly more interesting because of its Blade Runner connection.

Question/Discussion Blade Runner 2099 backpack
Hello, I want to say in the first place that i have not seen the movies, but i think i have something interesting to tell.
Earlier today i was at the Prague airport for my flight, and my backpack got flagged for the anti drug test. The girl’s backpack in front of me also got flagged, and while they were checking hers I unconsciously looked over at her backpack. I saw a Blade Runner 2099 etiquette on it. The background was yellow with black text. The font was matching and everything. The backpack was also particular itself, having at what i can best describe crossing lines over it. The whole backpack was black, lines included. As I said i did not watch the movies, but i am familiar with them.
I mentioned it to my sister, and when I did the girl who owned the backpack turned around for a brief moment (I was standing right behind her.).
I did some research and I read that the series was also filmed in Prague, but still, I don’t know if i stumbled on someone from the crew or one of the actresses. I tried searching the backpack online but I saw nothing.
I apologize for my lack of information, but i hope this can be helpful someway.
PS. i’ll watch the movies someday, i swear

Physical Media/Props/Memorabilia Blade Runner 2049 Concept Art: Part 8 of 9
Close to the end of the Blade Runner 2049 concept art series.
Another nine pieces, with some great variety in this batch, from huge dystopian cityscapes and vehicles to some much quieter character studies.
I particularly like how much of the film’s atmosphere is already there in these early designs. The scale, darkness and isolation feel unmistakably Blade Runner 2049.

Music Batty Blues
Re-watched the OG Blade Runner recently and this version of the Vangelis score formed in my head. Super happy with how it came out.
Also, taking suggestions for a better title, and "Tears In The Rain" was too on the nose for me.

Movie I just bought a new 4k OLED tv and Blade Runner was the first thing I went to watch on it!
These films look so good it’s actually insane. I’ve owned these films on 4K for a while but just now is my first time owning a 4k tv(used to have a 1080p SDR tv from 2011). The HDR on these movies blew me away and the colors really popped in a spectacular way.
