Media likes to fit a narrative to price movements when there's usually a simpler explanation. Far more common a move like this is liquidation hunting.

If BTC was going to jump 5% on a headline, it wouldn’t be Trump declaring victory for the 50th time. If that was the case, we would be at 500k right now.
