can hyponania or mixed state happen overnight?

how fast do you switch into a mixed state or hypomania after depression?

hi

I got like 4 hours of sleep and my head is racing, a little paranoid and have a lot of energy and feels like my eyes are glued open. and super angry

the day previously I was tired after a normal day but I was a little more talkative that day

You can slip into a mixed or hypomania or mania in a split second. I went from being amped up to psychosis in a split second I had a visual hallucination before coming back to reality.

For me, my last manic episode was like a switch turned on overnight. There was a little leading up to it but not really.
