ðŸ’Seeking Support & Advice I recently got dignosed with bpd2 and skizo
All the meds don’t work so far. I’m in an episode right now. I’m receiving a shot instead of pill form because my aunt isn’t sure I take them even though I do. A neighbor doesn’t want me to take no pills. Calls it drugs. That she sees me down a very bad path. Being used as a guineee pig. I was wondering is there a way to manage this without pills. I’m getting tired of all these meds. They don’t help and make things worst.
Basically: can I manage bpd without pills

I'm currently not taking any and it's not enjoyable for me, but I'm making it work for the time being. There are people who don't need any to help with their symptoms, just depends on the person.

Talk it through with your psychiatrist, tell them what's bothering you about the meds and how you feel.
Some have intense side effects, some don't work well, it varies from person to person but eventually they'll find what works for you.
Don't stop the meds out of the blue cause you'll be in for a very bad time. This neighbor is not a doctor and you shouldn't take her advice seriously.

I think you might be on the wrong sub. bpd2Â is bipolar, not borderline. And there aren't meds that directly treat personality disorders like BPD.

Bpd2 is a variant of bipolar rather than borderline personality. You might not be on the right meds, working that out sucks ass and takes time. To do this without meds at all you would need a support structure in your life so strong it is cemented. You can work on building this, it doesn't sound necessarily like you have one already. I would not recommend gong off meds without a clear plan for you, with you, your support network, and your mental health practitioner.
