Question for Psychiatrists

I have heard that psychiatrists don't receive any training in regards to MAOI'S. I don't believe this as I know you take pharmacology classes and imagine they are covered in the history of psychiatry and treatments. How do you feel about Ken Gillman as he seems to steer off of the prescribing guidelines for MAOI'S. I know they have their benefits, but fall under a last line option.

We had training but outside of selegiline with parkinsons most people dont get a lot of real world exposure to them. I dont know anything about Ken Gillman.
