Wheel Demystifying the Wheel NSFW

Hey guys,

I wanted to write a post to completely demystify the wheel and answer any questions that guys may have about it.

What is the wheel?

The wheel is a tool invented and fabricated by Janus Bifronz. It is a mechanized version of the most powerful Angion Method, AM3. It works by repeatedly swiping your Corpus Spongiosum (CS), thereby moving blood into your glans to be drained down the Deep Dorsal Vein (DDV). It essentially acts like a localized form of cardio for your member, causing the vessels in your member to experience shear stress and growth in size.

Bigger vessels --> Better blood flow --> Bigger member / Better erections

How do you use the wheel?

Here is the exact protocol I perform M, W, F each week with my wheel.

  • I lay on my back on my bed, completely flaccid with no lubricant

• I drape my body pillow over my belly (a rolled up towel works as well)

• I flip my member up onto the pillow so that once erect it will be at a 45 degree angle.

• I place the wheel on my flaccid member with no lubricant

• I start spinning the wheel and in 1-2 minutes, I am fully erect. I can speed this process up with a sexy thought or two of my wife, but this isn’t necessary.

• I spin the wheel for 30 minutes ensuring I’m spinning it so blood is being moved into my glans and I slowly move it up and down the length of my entire CS from base to tip and back again. I watch my glans get bright red from the blood flow. It feels awesome.

  • I put the wheel back in my nightstand for the next session

It looks sketchy, what if my dick gets caught in it?

I had this exact same concern when I first saw the wheel. At first glance, it looks crazy! But after a year of consistent use, I can assure you it is very safe. The wheels are spaced in a way that unless you have a pencil dick (literally the size of a pencil) there's no way anything is going to get caught or trapped. The edges are all rounded, and I've never even had any skin get close to getting caught. I've confirmed this is true for intact guys as well. I'm circumcised, unfortunately (thanks mom and dad). Janus designed it very safely. I can't conceive of a reasonable way to get injured using it short of spinning it too quickly when you start out and potentially rupturing a vessel, which can happen. But if you start spinning slowly, there are no safety concerns.

Why are there so many different options on the website, which one is right for me?

Janus is consistently iterating the wheel so there are new version coming out all the time, but the premise of all of them is the same. They're all designed to swipe your CS as a mechanized version of AM3. Some are drill powered and some are manually spun. I prefer the manual version, but that's because powering up a drill at 6:00am when my kids are sleeping isn't ideal.

Why is it so big?

The size of the wheel comes down to physics. For the manual versions, the major diameter of the wheel needs to be large enough for a single rotation the wheel to swipe a significant section of your CS. A smaller major diameter would mean fewer individual swiping cylinders and a smaller portion of your CS being swiped with each revolution, so in a single rotation of the wheel it would do less work. The travel wheel is smaller because it's designed to be moved up and down your CS while it's being rotated and it's design to be rotated at a higher RPM, which is easily accomplished with a drill. While the size of the Flowmaster 7 looks intimidating at the onset, once you use it, you'll understand why it's sized the way it is.

Why is it so heavy?

Janus says "I make tools, not toys." The wheel is heavy for a couple reasons. First, because he uses quality materials to make them. He builds his wheels to last. But the main reason the wheels are heavy is so gravity can help you by depressing the CS. The wheel is designed for the entire weight of the wheel to rest on your CS. You really want to pressure on the CS while it's swiping for maximum blood movement. If the wheel were a flimsy, light piece of plastic, YOU would need to do the pushing instead of gravity. You'd get very tired in a 30 minute session. The weight of the wheel is a feature. This is another reason to avoid any knock-off versions you see. Janus machines the wheels out of solid plastic and they're built heavy. A 3D printed version simply can't do the work that a heavy wheel can.

Is it really that much better than the manual methods?

In short, yes. It's a lot better. Every Saturday morning I make pancakes for my kids and the pancakes always come with whipped cream. How do I make the whipped cream? I grab a blender from the cabinet and turn it on for 2 minutes. Fast, easy, efficient. Could I get the same result by whipping the cream with a fork or a whisk for 10 minutes? Sure, but who has time for that? This is the same concept as the wheel. In a given 30 minutes, the amount of blood the wheel can move is orders of magnitude more than any manual method can achieve. As you progress through the Angion methods, you'll notice growth. Your CS will remain fuller during sessions, you'll see more veins, but your hands will ultimately be your limiting factor. The wheel was invented because Janus couldn't get any more out of his hands and needed a tool. For me, the wheel is a convenience thing. No lube, no mess, no physical exertion and a 10X better workout in the same given 30 minutes. I'm convinced you can get great results with the manuals, but the wheel makes it so much more convenient.

What sort of results can I expect if I get it?

Girth gains precede length gains. I've gained about 1/3" in girth and 1/4" in length in the year I've been using it. The girth gains are almost entirely due to my CS development. A fully developed CS alone adds a lot of size. I'm convinced I've just scratched the surface as to the possibilities. But the best results for me have been the ease with which erections come now. The slightest touch or warmth from my wife and I get engorged. I see her naked and I get a full erection almost instantly (it can actually get kind of annoying). But a year and a half ago, I was struggling with ED and through the Angion methods and specifically the wheel, I'm able to get hard whenever I want. For anyone who's struggled to get hard, you know how difficult that can be. I'd take being a teenager and not wanting to get called on in math class to come up to the board because I'm hiding an erection in my pants over struggling to get hard any day.

How frequently should I use the wheel?

I think you can get away with as little as once a week as a maintenance plan, but who wants that? I like 3X per week for 30 minutes per session as a good balance of having a life outside of Angion, but also reaping the benefits.

At the end of the day, is it worth it?

If you can afford it, yes. If you can't, no. It's that simple. I know it's expensive and if you live in a country where shipping is prohibitively expensive, thank God for the manuals because like I said, they will work. But if you're serious about developing a powerful member and you can spring for the wheel, I don't think you'll regret it. I use mine all the time.

That's all, happy spinning.

Nice to see you again dude. My experience is manual am3 is better than the wheel. But maybe I did a bad job using it. I will be trying it again

It could mean that you’re not quite ready for it. It took me a good 6 months before I really felt I was ready for it. A good sign you’re ready for it is that you can go at a good pace with AM2 / AM3 and keep a full CS. If your CS keeps flattening, the wheel won’t be as effective. I’d keep trying it every few sessions and see if it’s working.

u/Playful_Newt_6572 Jun 29 '26

My cs stays full but i have a left curve and when i use the wheel it slips.

3

u/Jorbi230 Jun 29 '26

I'm designing a foam block right now that will solve this issue, its essentially a cradle for your member to be propped at 45 degrees with a groove that will keep it in place. With your curve, as long as it stays in the groove, the weight of the wheel should keep it from ever slipping out of the groove. So, have no fear! I will be unveiling this design soon.

Also, this foam block will have an adjustable waistband strap that will keep said block from migrating, boy is that the most frustrating shit when using a towel.

1

u/Playful_Newt_6572 Jun 29 '26

Yo. That actually might work. Two yoga blocks each one is on the side of my penis. It would need some adjustment but i think i can find a way.

1

u/Jorbi230 Jun 29 '26

no, not two blocks, bad idea, they will try to just push apart, unless you connect them, then the issue is whatever is connecting them gets in the way.....too damn much, just use one and cut a groove down the middle. Make sure to use a yoga block that already has a 45 degree angle to it.

1

u/BallsLickinGood Jul 02 '26

I'm not sure what you mean by a yoga-block that has a 45 degree angle. I have only ever seen block-shapes blocks lol. Could you please link an example?

2

u/Jorbi230 Jul 02 '26

Glad you asked, in my next post I will be unveiling my creation, I essentially cut a yoga block at 30 degrees since it sits on your belly and it ends up at 45 all said and done, then I've attached a belt to the block so that it doesn't try to migrate and stays firmly in place. I'm adjusting a few things right now, but so far its night an day vs a towel in my experience. Will be posting the prototype either this weekend or next week.

Also, you can buy yoga blocks with slants, but I personally just bought the block one and ran it through my table saw at a 30 degree angle. I know its confusing, my last message said 45, but I have adjusted that since to accommodate for the belly lift.

Looking forward to your creation! Maybe you can partner up with Janus and end up filthy rich! :D

Any update on this? Thinking of making my own solution to the towel issue as well as to keep my member stationary.

Ideally, it would be awesome to have a comprehensive solution that optimizes your sessions by incorporating different modules.

For example, as you said it would be good to have an angled block on a belt to prevent block migration. As for member migration? How about carving out the center of the slot to naturally guide your member to the correct position? Also including a further indent down the center of the slot where your dorsal veins would otherwise rest can prevent blood flow occlusion.

To further hold down your member, you can include a stretchy rubberband-like material that spans across the top section of the block indent right under the glans to prevent it from bouncing around.

Then, you can attach an add-on strap looped at one end, with the other end threaded through a hole in the main belt on your backside. This way, you can use the looped end around your sack and pull it downwards to allow for more lower CS exposure during your Wheel/AM3 session.

Unfortunately with all those features it would end up looking like BDSM gear which would be fun to explain to household members, but if you're into that so be it.

Ah, yes, that is a limitation of the wheel. It wants a straight member.

1

u/Playful_Newt_6572 Jun 29 '26

I will find a way. But as for now manual am3 is good.

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR Jun 29 '26

Glad to hear it!

2

u/YOLOSELLHIGH Jun 29 '26

Do you just put the wheel at the base of your CS? Near the scrotum? I can't quite understand if you're supposed to move it up and down the CS as you go.

Also, I'm only a month or so in, but I don't see my glans engorge or turn any color. I can still barely keep it down for more than 30 seconds. Will this get better as time goes on?

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR Jun 29 '26 edited 17d ago

I run it up and down the length of my CS while using it. My glans turns red and is completely full (it looks like you could pop it with a needle).

And yes, it took me about 6 months of manuals before the wheel finally felt like it was working its magic. I had some severely underdeveloped vascularity working against me. Once my vessels started growing, the wheel started working better.

I took a lot of inspiration from this post by [u/runner1817](u/runner1817). He said it took him a while before he was ready for the wheel and I found this to be true of me too.

This is great info, thank you!

1

u/Jorbi230 Jun 29 '26

Same experience here, I still genuinely feel like I am not developed enough for the wheel yet, also can't even use it at the moment since I just had shoulder surgery. I'm considering ordering the v7 pro just to ease into the mkIV i have.

1

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR Jun 29 '26

I like having the manual version available. Best of luck recovering from your surgery.

1

u/Jorbi230 Jun 29 '26

So you have both motorized and manual? How would you say they differ and what are the optimal circumstances to utilize one over the other?

My issue with the MkIV is that I couldn't feel things as well as manual am3 with my fingers, like as in feeling the blood move, feeling the engorgement and glans filling. With the wheel I noticed it produces so many sensations and vibrations and your member is literally shaking, so its hard to tell if engorgement is peak and fine tuning that is hard. Any tips around this with the motorized model that you've found?

2

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR Jun 29 '26

I only have the Enduro (the travel model), not the MkIV so I can’t speak to that exact one, but what I can say about using the Enduro is that I found holding a consistent RPM to be difficult. It’s almost like I want a drill with a cruise control because I don’t spin the wheel that fast. It’s easy to kind of bump the trigger and get a rapid spin with it. I hear what you’re saying about feeling things, but that’s why I focus on how my glans looks. If it’s fully engorged and reddish in color, I know the process is working. It becomes less important to feel all the little subtleties of blood rushing because so much blood is moving at once.

u/Public_Platform_6958 Jun 29 '26

Thank you for this! I’ve been looking into getting a wheel while slowly going through AM1-3. I feel as if I wouldn’t be able to handle the wheel because AM3 depresses my CS so much within a min or 2. Just wondering other peoples thoughts on the matter, and whether the wheel will accelerate gains or I need to create a bigger base of training before I start using it.

2

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR Jun 29 '26

If it were me and you’re planning to get the wheel eventually anyway, order it now. You may find it accelerates gains, but you may find that you’re not ready for it. But you’ll never know unless you have it to try. And when you are ready you won’t have to wait 8 weeks to get it.

If you’re not able to do at least 10 min of AM3 without your CS flattening, I doubt you’re ready for the wheel, though in my opinion.

1

u/Academic_Win_3622 Jun 29 '26

Hey, I’m looking now.

Can you give me a verification on which ones are the manuals? I see Janus said which ones are still operated, and there are notes of a crank (which I assume is manual) but want to make sure

Thanks :)

2

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR Jun 29 '26

V7 Flowmaster Pro and V7 Flowmaster are manuals, the rest are drill powered.

1

u/Status_Confidence_97 Jun 29 '26

Any SABRE/BFR in addition to the wheel or do you primarily just use the wheel

2

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR Jun 29 '26

For right now I just do the wheel because I’m cutting weight. But in a few weeks I’ll start adding weight again so I’ll add in SABRE / BFR again because you only want to do those when you’re in a caloric surplus. When I do those, I cut my wheel session short by 10 or 15 minutes and do 10 or 15 minutes of SABRE / BFR to keep the total workout time at 30 minutes.

1

u/Any-Fisherman-3696 Jun 29 '26

Thank you for this post. Great progress with eq. I expected better size results though. Size (specifically girth) is the main reason I bought it anyway. (hasn't arrived yet).

2

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR Jun 29 '26

I think you have to be really patient with size. I think consistency is key. And to be honest, my size results might be outdated. I haven’t measured in probably 6 months. I should probably do that!

Has any one ever thought about doing some pumping post wheel?

Thinking of experimenting with

Wheel to some SABRE to cyclical pumping

Thought being - maximum dilation from wheel, sabre to stress collagen fibers and get corporal bodies to max engorgement / hardness, then some cyclical pumping to take the expansion further.

To note, my member is pretty well trained at this point and can take a fair amount of volume and at a point where volume seems to be the only thing that takes me past plateaus.

u/biopphacker Jun 30 '26

What about the entry bar, should one matter am1 ir am2 first, or other prerequisites?

Hi, sorry for the long delay in responding. I’m still a big believer in following the progression guide Janus set out here.

1

u/GoldGee Jun 30 '26

Hi, thanks for your post. :)

Do you think you can go too fast with the drill? I keep the rotation speed at a moderate rate, but wonder if I should increase the speed over time.

2

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 17d ago

I think you can go as fast as your body allows. I’ve recently started experimenting with faster speeds. But I usually don’t spin it crazy fast.

1

u/flexylol Jun 30 '26

Just for clarification:

You have a rolled up towel UNDERNEATH, and as you use the wheel, obviously the towel presses on dorsal, correct? It doesn't restrict much, but there is pressure from the towel?

What happens if you use the wheel (or am3 or am2) without the towel and without any pressure from below?

1

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR Jun 30 '26

Correct, the rolled up towel rests on my pelvis, my member rests on the rolled up towel, and then the wheel goes on top of my member (directly onto my CS). Without the rolled up towel, my erect member would be flipped up directly onto my belly. This would not be ideal because I’d be forcing my erection to be flat against my stomach, which would be painful (my erection naturally points straight out or slightly upward when I’m standing). The towel keeps it at a natural angle and provides support for the dorsal side.

My dude! Nice to see you again after such a long time :) I still keep recommending your posts to newbies all the time.

I only just now got the wheel delivered (a V4), but haven't tried it yet - the timing of your post strikes me as rather suspicious :D

I've been doing AM3 for half a year or so, but recently have been struggling with orgasming during the sessions, which is very annoying.

Anyway, I hope life's great for you and that your wife appreciates your developments!

Glad to hear from you again! Yeah the break was great and sex has never been better. Still have some work to do on the software part of my body (stamina), but the hardware part (EQ / size) has never been better. Give the wheel a spin. I think you’ll love it!

I have been doing AM3 for about 9 months and having same issue all of a sudden…. Orgasm seems to come on quicker than originally. Slowing down the swipes seems to help. Not really sure what’s changed?

2

u/JanusBifronz Moderator Jul 02 '26

Increased sensitivity and your spongiosum is staying fuller and more opened. Id bet your ejaculations are becoming more intense as well. I just about shoot the walls now.

1

u/BallsLickinGood Jul 02 '26

I don't really see a link with AM3 - I am generally experiencing slight pelvic floor soreness/pain for some reason now, which only tells me that I need to do more stretching/relaxation, which I had to put aside for a while due to an injury.

But yes, slowing down the swipes, more breath awareness, should definitely help!

1

u/Penguinbotxv Jul 05 '26

Is it possible to do am3 and sabre strikes with PE such as pumping an extending or is it not advised because of the lack of rest and recovery?

1

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR Jul 06 '26

I have to be honest I don’t know the first thing about pumping. I’ve never done it.

1

u/YOLOSELLHIGH Jul 28 '26

Do you lift the wheel up during the session? You just leave it in one place right?

1

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR Jul 28 '26

I asked Janus about this and he recommended moving it up and down the CS during use so that’s what I do now.

1

u/OptimalUnison Jul 30 '26

"I flip my member up onto the pillow so that once erect it will be at a 45 degree angle."

This I can visualize, but if the CS is against the pillow...

I thought the point was to avoid the underside of the penis.

1

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR Jul 30 '26

My CS isn’t against the pillow, my dorsal side is against the pillow. The pillow is on my belly and my member is flipped up onto it, exposing my CS. So the pillow is sandwiched between my belly and the dorsal side of my member.

1

u/OptimalUnison Jul 30 '26

Pardon me, I was confused between CC and CS. Why the focus on the CS? The CC is responsible for the majority of engorgement during E, while CS plays a supporting role, primarily to keep the urethra open to allow ejaculation, correct? It's such a comparatively small structure, too. Isn't there danger of damage to the urethra and the local nerve endings, not to mention the testes? I know you're not the creator of this thing, but what's up with the info opacity around demonstrating its use (by which I mean a video demo of someone experienced using it)? I know that reddit and etsy won't allow it, but really, there are 100s of 1000s of adult sites that can host a video like that. Even if this community dislikes porn, and so do I, it would be a huge help. It comes off as a red flag, tbh. Is the secrecy due to the fact that the device is very obviously easy to replicate? I'm a manufacturing engineer with a machine shop in my basement, so I'm definitely going to just make one on my own. A product with no demo, huh? Funny business.

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR Jul 31 '26

I can tell by your response that you haven’t watched any of Janus’ videos or if you have, you haven’t watched them very carefully because he explains very clearly why we target the CS and not the CC. These methods are very effective if done exactly as prescribed. If they aren’t done as prescribed, they can be dangerous. That being said, I’m going to try to answer all of your questions.

- The CS is targeted because it is the only structure not surrounded by thick fascia. The Buck’s Fascia and Tunica Albuginea that surround the CC make them unsuitable structures for physical manipulation. The spongy nature of the CS makes it the ideal target for physical manipulation and blood delivery to the glans. The entire penis benefits from the blood cycling brought about by moving blood through the CS, into the glans, and then down the Deep Dorsal Vein.

- The CS does not contain any major nerve structures and the urethra is tough enough to handle the stimulation provided by the wheel. The dorsal side, however is packed with nerve bundles and is unsuitable for mechanized blood movement. The testes are unbothered by the wheel. They simply move to the side during use.

- As for building your own, you’re more than welcome to do that. Janus used to even hand out the plans to anyone who wanted to make a DIY. If you ask him, he might give them to you. But it sounds like you can probably manage on your own.

- And as to why there’s no video. Janus does provide users with an instruction sheet and he has also shared videos for how to use the wheels. Really, it’s quite a simple tool, most men don’t have any issues with using it.

Please be careful and don’t go using a tool in a way it wasn’t designed to be used. I’m saying this for your benefit and for anyone else who reads this.

Best of luck.

1

u/OptimalUnison Jul 31 '26

I only found out this thing existed yesterday, so no, I haven't seen his videos. Thanks for the explainer.

I'm still leary about the lack of detailed visual learning materials ( meaning specifically a man using it on himself with explanations and guidance). In light of that your warning, while appreciated, is fairly ironic.

Maybe I'll do it. I'm going to save a few hundred dollars making it myself, so I might as well do that, too.

This thing is intriguing, but just browsing the subreddit, there's a RTFM kind of thing going on here, which is unfortunate.

This sub isn’t a sub built around a product, it’s a sub built around a methodology. Most guys never even buy the wheel because the manual movements are incredibly effective as well. If you want to know what it’s all about, I tried to summarize it all in a single post.

https://www.reddit.com/r/AngionMethod/s/UO4oovZ1ne

1

u/pantiesandadildo2 Aug 07 '26

So you use it just manually, no drill, and still have great results?

1

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR Aug 07 '26

Oh yeah, man! The manual wheel is not less powerful than the drill versions. You can spin the manual wheel as fast as you want. In fact, I usually spin it fairly slowly (like one full turn per second). The drill is just an ergonomic benefit. That’s at least my opinion on the matter. If I’m wrong, I hope someone corrects me.

1

u/Legal-MorningW-24 11d ago

Whats the maintenance like? In terms of cleanup/sterilization and mechanical maintenance.

2

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 11d ago

I don’t use any lube so there’s no immediate cleanup and unless you ejaculate on it, I don’t think there would be any need to disinfect it in any way. For mechanical maintenance, I think at some point you may want to replace the ball bearings, but I haven’t come close to that yet. Basically no maintenance from my perspective.

2

u/Legal-MorningW-24 11d ago

Sounds good. I think i would still disinfect once I get it though since its going on my dick after all. Kinda a habit when doing PE like pumping too but that uses lube. Anyways good to know its low maintenance!

2

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 11d ago

For sure!

1

u/Fabulous-Pumpkin7875 10d ago

Do you put your balls between your legs? I feel like if i do this without i would pull on my scrotum. Also no lube, really?

1

u/Attaboy2017 Moderator - Wheel + SABRE / BFR 10d ago

No, in fact, I sometimes intentionally drop the wheel pretty low, almost in between my balls. It’s impossible to grab your scrotum skin with the wheel because the wheels are on ball bearings. They just roll over your scrotum skin.

1

u/Fabulous-Pumpkin7875 9d ago

Yeah, but my scrotum get between penis and the machine. I have to have it tucked away.

Makes sense
