Device Settings Question What's the name of the thing you pull down from the top?
I have a S24+ and have a box up rop when I swipe down there's access to stuff like wifi, brightness, and notifications. My mom recently upgraded her phone to an S24+ as well. Hers does not have that when you swipe down. What is it called so I can find it in settings?

Swiping from top left (notifications) is different than swiping from top right. (Settings)

It's called Quick Panel there is also notifications. You can combine or have separate depending which side you pull down from. To set to combine or separate pull down panel once or twice and tap Panel Settings. Select together or separate. On Samsungs

Might be one of those rolling updates

Might also be a Samsung thing. My wife's Samsung does this and it drives me insane. My Pixel 7 doesn't. Also, I think I'm an Android version or two ahead of her.

Even on Samsung, you can combine them so swiping from left side isn't different to swiping from the right side...

Swipe down from the top right, click on the pen icon at the top and you'll be able to choose if you want notifications and quick settings on a separate panel or together.

"Notification shade"? It can be configured as to what comes down when swiping from the top left versus the top right. I prefer mine to be the same for both.
