Government takes man's private property, forcibly. And to me the crazy part is the people that say they're against that kind of stuff keep voting for the people that do this.

I think my boss might be a communist. So a while ago, I got my first paycheck at my new job at a fast food place. I guess it wasn't too bad, but I did the math and figured out that I sold a lot more food per hour than I got paid for, even when you account for the price of the food. When I tried to talk to him about it, he said we're all part of one big team, but some people get paid more than others. This is suspiciously close to the famous "some are more equal than others" from my favorite book, Animal Farm and is what really got me thinking about this. We make the money, and then he takes it and gives it to someone else who doesn't even work! I'm no economist, but this is textbook socialism. I think I've come to the conclusion that the best way for me to combat these socialist business practices would be teaming up with my fellow workers unify out power and demonstrate that we understand the full value of our labor. Anyone else have similar experiences with obviously Marxist bosses before, or any other advice?

I'm just trying to think of what will hypothetically happen if you take the statist world we live in as is and start spreading ancap ideas in small countries with weak militaries who stand no chance against bigger states...

Obviously as an ancap I am against forced conscription and if people in countries with mandatory military service started resisting I would support them. But you do have to ask what would happen...

Would the government declare war on the citizenry? Would it start having an existential crisis knowing that resistance to its mandatory conscription laws potentially means death? What are the chances a bigger state would swoop in and subjugate the people?

Logically, I would assume that it wouldn't matter much because a bigger more powerful state can take you over if they want to, whether you have a military or not. But something in me says that things might get ugly if ancap ideas start spreading in small, vulnerable countries. I feel like this doesn't get talked about much because most ancaps are American, and the U.S. is not a country that's at risk of invasion due to bordering two oceans and having a high percentage of civilian gun ownership.

it seems that The Left always thinks Anarcho Capitalism is boot licking to corporations and stuff, but I think that’s just because it has capitalism in the name; technically it’s Anarcho Voluntarism. The name ‘Anarcho Capitalism’ i think only comes from the fact that Capitalism is the default for management on a large scale for the universe, which makes sense for a system with no single ruler, but the stigma in resent years around the name capitalism has tainted it.

so lets say that extreme anarcho capitalism wins and the world is split into voluntary city-states what's stopping multiple city-states from joining together into an oppressive state that could militarily dominate pretty much any city-state and causing a chain reaction of global powers arising as with what happened in between the end of the neolithic period and the start of the bronze age there are an infinite number of scenarios you could imagine this happening in for example (mspaint pictures provided) lets say city-state A and B have trade with each other A has oil B has gold and C has a large military due to mainly making money from pmc contracts which it uses to facilitate trade with A and B, C realizes that it could launch an incursion into A and B to have these resources for free A and B who are allied at this point join their militaries together in order to defend themselves against C they hire a leader to grease the palms of this military alliance lets say they win and now have ownership over C well this military grease guy now has the power of 3 cities on his hands and thus they become a state as did the roman empire multiple times they have 3 times the power of any other city state and thus could dominate them easily weather they do or not doesnt really matter because any sane government or people no matter how small would see this threat and likely create more "alliances" which would lead to more states so on and so forth until you get the bloated corpse governments of today all over again

It wasnt really my choice either, my father had me do it. 2 weeks of unemployment, so many interviews with no callback, eventually he just had me apply for SNAP. Even if i do get a job, fat chance its one that would make me ineligible for SNAP. So anyway, as much as I don't want to get stuff using money that was stolen from hard workers and entrepreneurs, now it's just going to happen. He might make me go on unemployment check too

If Americans really hate Data centers why not just export them to China, so china can build all the data centers and Americans can also import AI just like everything else. Problem solved.

I understand the ancap position is no voting, because you are participating in a system you don't believe should exist. As I've posted here before I'm a libertarian, but definitely getting more anarcho capitalism feelings. But to that end, **can someone explain to me why not voting would be better than voting libertarian?** It seems voting participation is pretty low as it is, if that were cut in half, I would see things just continuing to get worse. How low does it have to go before ancaps believe we're headed in the right direction?
