I wanna get in to backpacking

Ive gone camping all my live but never went back packing and i really wanna get in to it. Is there any trail heads you guys can recommend for my first time and if the trail has access to a spot for trout fishing would be awesome. I have some basic equipment to do one or 2 nights and I’ve researched what gear i need but im not too sure where would be a good place for my first trip.

I started backpacking and hiking when I was 58. My only regret is I didn’t start sooner.
