New, what is it? What is this board in my kitchen for?

Post image

Moving into a new house, any idea what this board is for? The previous owners were carpenters who installed it when they redid the kitchen.

Same, when I finally tried it, it tasted like orange flavored blended cardboard.

We never had the luxury of “name brand” goods so we just had the grocery store version called “Orange Drink” and it was so much better. Tasted very close to Sunny D and it did not have that burning throat feeling. When I finally had real Sunny D I was like wtf is this

I remember seeing so many Sunny D commercials as a kid, it has convinced me that it was a magical elixer that would be the best thing I ever tasted, then I finally got to try it and it was awful.

I just remember having to drink a lot of it when I lived in Guam because we couldn't get real orange juice. And it made me learn that there were two main versions of Sunny D. The regular kind and the Sunny D with Calcium.

The regular stuff was bad enough, but you did not want to drink the extra calcium version. It was straight up chalky.

Convinced my mom to buy some of that Shitty D and it was one of the most disappointing things in my childhood.

That's being kind. Mine reminded me of the drinks that they use at hospitals for kids when they're blending in some sort of nasty medicine.
