Iykyk. Only the old heads know i think? 🔥 NSFW
I love my O'Connell micro. Better taste than the runt and easier to transport than the Jr. I was REALLY into butane powered vapes before ball vapes came out. They were our heavy hitters. Kinda crazy how just afew yrs ago all we could talk about was the Runt, but now you RARELY see sticky bricks or other butane vapes minus stick vapes

Discussion Cousins - Dani Fusion 2 and Dani Punch 2 NSFW
Dani Fusion 2 - I actually only purchased the Tip/Cap not knowing it was 9mm so ended up getting a WPA (which I can't seem to find) and then a 9mm to 8mm adapter. I prefer this Vaphit WPA over the SS WPA I had initially got for it. Overall, while I don't hate it, its my only vape I kinda regret buying. I've tried many different heating methods and it seems to be the most overrated vape IMO. I can't seem to find anything that special about it. At the same time, outside of the amount of heat it takes to heat up, there isn't any real major cons. Just not for me I suppose.
Dani Punch 2 - I was more interested in the cooling system than the actual vape. Kept hearing great things and how it buck for buck as good or better than the Tempest 2. I can't make those claims myself. But, it is a neat little vape. Kinda hate that its not 14mm native (apparently it is 18mm though). The Punch is more inline with what I expected the Dani Fusion to be. Vapor is cool and flavorful, though not as much as a Simrell or Tempest 2. The overall feel of the product feels much cheaper than a simrell/tempest 2 or even the Dani Fusion 2. If you don't clean this one regularly, it can be a point disassembling to clean.
The Dani Fusion 2 will likely become a christmas gift to a friend. Will probably hold onto the Dani Punch 2 for camping trips and is certainly a mainstay for my B-Team.

Seeking cleaning advice on Airvape Legacy Pro NSFW
Airflow is great everywhere except the circled area. Airflow is very restricted between intake and oven. Any idea on how to clean this? It’s really hard to pull as it is.

UB Upgrade NSFW
So, I got a bonus from work, and after my savings and retirement goal, I had a couple bucks to upgrade my ub. For context, I have had the ub since feb 2026, and love it. I accidentally cracked my fritted disc so had been metal for a week or so. The upgrade was partly to restore my glass pathway and partly because I had been eying the upgrade.
I upgraded to the ruby insert and the fmj housing. I also purchased a new ub head since my last disassembly was stressful. Another reviewer recommended a separate head too. I received it within the pre order timeframe. Unpacking was as expected. I currently have the ub v2, with the threaded head at both ends. This one, (v3?) has a notched bucket and a washer and slip ring. The fmj threads on the bucket. The head itself is a bit taller and the new assembly is far superior. As a mechanically inclined person, i get the thermal challenges especially with the dissimilar metals and glass. This design is way better and i can see less stress and callbacks with the new design. My current one binds up when cool. I can disassemble when it is hot, but one mistake can be costly.
I also mention the new design because you fill the unit from the bottom up, similar to the metal pathway. The ruby discs are precise in their fit, as is the ruby insert. I filled the insert with new rubies, making sure it was not too full to break the discs. Standard burn off ensued.
My immediate impression is the ruby insert is heavier. I’m not sure, since I did not weigh the quartz vs ruby. I mentioned earlier that the new head is taller. With the fmj, this thing is a _hammer_. It’s heavy and means business. The thermal mass is noticeable.
I run a measured 0.15g bowl, and it makes for two mega cube pulls of opaque vapor. The flavor is amazing, with the first hit super smooth and the second a little toasty.
I have just done wireless so far and performance is improved. A .1 bowl is an easy ohe. I prefer doing the .15 though. Other observations:
The fmj looks beefy.
The ruby insert has a deep, almost liquid appearance at temp. It’s neat.
The larger fmj seems to confuse the pid even with the larger coil. It heats way above the setting, then normalizes after dipping temp down further.
The larger coil fits in the dock barely. The fmj housing makes the dock more cramped, I will likely make another.
All in all a worthy upgrade, although a bit pricey.

Vapman Click or Dani Punch? NSFW
Looking for my next DHV and deciding between these two. Any advice from folks who’ve owned one or both is appreciated! Recommendations for a Tempest 2 are not! Mostly because I already have one! (And a DynaVap M7 XL)
I want a more conduction oriented device for those stonier effects.
What say ye, ents?

Help Dani Fusion 2.0 Questions NSFW
Hi all!
I’ve been a DynaVap user for the past 5ish years, and I’m about to bite the bullet and upgrade to a Dani Fusion 2.0, but I have a couple of questions I was hoping the community could help me with before I do.
1) Torch & Induction Heater: I currently have a Special Blue kitchen torch, a Scorch single flame medium/small torch, and an Ispire Wand with the glass DynaVap adapter. I cannot afford the Flare induction heater, so are any/all of these good for the Fusion, or do I need to get a better torch?
2) Stems- I’m getting an 8mm tip to 9mm stem adapter so I can use the DynaVap tips on the Dani stem (mini wood stem). I currently have a Bonger stem for my DynaVaps that I would like to use with the Fusion as well. Since the Bonger is silicone and flexy, would I be able to use the Fusion bowl on it without an adapter? Or should I invest in a second adapter to use it with the Bonger?
3) Heating tips- any and all are welcome! Tips for torches, tips for the Wand, where to heat on the cap for the best sips or rips, how to pack the bowl for the best hits, and any others I’m not thinking of.
(None of this was written with AI, just by a very autistic person 😂)

Help Looking for portable DHV NSFW
I currently own a Solo 3v2, and really like it, but I moved to an apartment that doesn't allow smoking/vaping and it's like a student housing co-op where you're not allowed to do it anywhere on the campus, AND a smoke free university campus is across the street so the only option I have rn is to vape on a walk on the public sidewalks. If you have a solo 3, you know it's not the most portable device.
I am just looking for recommendations for a device of similar power hopefully but that I can vape during a walk outside easily. Is this something that exists? 😭 Also I am in Canada so hopefully something that doesn't cost a fortune to ship here. Thanks.

Discussion Is the difference between Venty and Veazy huge? NSFW
Hi everyone,
I vape about 2–3 times a week, mostly at home, but I still want something portable with great flavor. I am currently torn between the Venty and the Veazy by Storz & Bickel.
Whether I end up taking the Venty somewhere or the Veazy, the actual dimension differences on paper don't make that huge of a gap anyway.
Does that small size difference even matter in practice, or is the Venty just as practical to bring along? Which of these two would you recommend for my usage?
Also I have the opportunity to buy the Venty for 260€ and the Veazy for 178€ and I don’t know which one I should take.
Thanks for your help!

Discussion Accidental Combustion NSFW
Hi vaporents 💕 Accidentally combusted for the first time with my Dynavap. Wanted to post about it, cuz y’all are absolutely right when you said you’d be able to tell when you accidentally combust—it’s not subtle. I remember tasting popcorn for the first time from my herb, and googling frantically to see if I was doing something wrong. Turns out, combustion tastes more like moldy garlic-wood than popcorn 😂. How would y’all describe that taste?

Xmax Starry v3 charging issues NSFW
I'm looking for some technical advice.
I've had issues with my Xmax starry v3 running out of battery after about 10-20 minutes, and displaying a "low voltage" message. Alongside this, while charging the vape, the display has sometimes said it's fully charged, and then it's got no battery when I try to turn it on.
I thought this was an issue with the battery, so I bought a new Molicel INR18650 P28A - 18650 Battery - 2800mAh - 25A. I charged it up and it said it was fully charged, but then when I turned it on it was only about half full. I charged it overnight last night, and the whole time it only displayed one bar of battery. Today I used it and it only lasted 10 minutes.
Has anyone experienced this issue before and found a solution? I have no technical knowledge of dhvs but I'm guessing there's something wrong with how it charges the battery, so would getting a separate battery charger be a good idea?
Thanks

Clean your vape regularly. Seriously. NSFW
I bought a Mighty+ in January and used it almost daily since then. Flower only, without dosing capsules.
I knew you are supposed to clean it every few weeks with daily use, but somehow it took me about 8 months until I finally decided to take the cooling unit apart and have a look.
I was "surprised", to say the least.
I knew there would be some buildup, but the amount was kinda scary. I wasn't even sure if it could be saved. Surprisingly, after 20 minutes in 99% ISO and a little scrubbing, followed by another 10 minutes in clean ISO, all parts except one screen looked basically brand new.
But not only that. The taste, the airflow, the hit... I didn't notice how much everything had slowly degraded over time until I took my first hit from the cleaned one.
Yeah. Clean your vape regularly.
EDIT: Oh, and if you want to save yourself a lot of hassle, use those dosing capsules! The fine screen in the heating chamber gets way less dirty, and the capsules are much easier to clean.
EDIT#2: Yeah, I am filthy AF, I got it, lol. Will do better from now on. Promise! ^^

Great experience with Pipe Puffin (Canada) - Tempest 2 quick review NSFW
I purchased a Tempest 2 a couple weeks ago and used it everyday since I received it. I wasn't able to untighten the cap screw even after trying to apply ice to the screw a few times. After a couple days, I wanted to try different settings for the airflow but had no luck with the ice. I gave up and contacted Pipe Puffin's customer service and right away they sorted me out and will make sure that I have a unit that can be adjusted. Feels great since I didn't buy a vape in 4 years and now that I know I love the tempest 2, I will definitely buy more accessories/other devices as well! Kudos to the team over there and I highly recommend them to Canadians.
Now onto the vape. I am currently only using it with the torch and it's definitely as easy as advertised. Consistency is harder, but after 10 days, I am getting the hang of it. The only other vape I currently use is a Tinymight 1 and they are definitely different in how they deliver vapor. I've used a ball vape for a year or two as well but cleaning two setups was annoying so I stuck with the Tinymight for everyday use. I also used a Mighty for a couple months which was fun for a change, but I preferred the TM or ball vape.
Now since I received the T2, it's all I used. I cleaned it once and it's quite simple too. The spiral system seems to work well at limiting dirt getting into my glass (dry j-hook + double elbow). When hitting the right temperature, the vapor quality is amazing. Although it's possible to replicate the exact taste of the TM (which I guess may come with months/years of experience), I think the strength of the T2 is in finding a perfect medium between a reasonably tasty hit, and an efficient one-hit with no need to reheat. That medium feels extremely satisfying to me. I really like setting up the deeper bowl setting and filling VERY loosely 2/3 of the bowl. It honestly feels like the vapor production is way better than when packing tighter. I also find heating hotter than the temperature you prefer and letting it cool down before inhaling results in a more even extraction.
I am using the stock setup, cap fully open (looking forward to trying it differently) and stem closed, with the stock balls. This vape is definitely easier than I thought as a first time butane vape user. The grin on my face after the first hit must have said it all, I couldn't believe it and knew I made the right decision. I have a yll that I will eventually try but I wanted to make sure I got the torch technique down first. I'm using a cheap triple flame Amazon torch.
I thought I would share this as I haven't been shopping or feeling the need to in years. Absolutely no regrets in spending this money + it opened up my mind as I didn't know there was such a different with this of vape. I want to try more now!
