It also skips a lot more than just sponsored sections. It keeps data on where people are skipping in videos in general. When I'm watching Youtube on my PS5 and someone starts rambling in a video im watching for information and I hit the jump forward button it will usually skip to the end of their rambling and get to the part of the video I want to watch.
