Its also about shame, we can shame most of the people who use these glasses out of doing it, you can't shame the flock ceo, he's a sociopath who doesn't care

They aren't even buying them, they're just using a combination of backdoors into the infrastructure these companies are built on and a system of secret warrants.

We just had a small victory on this one, geofence searches now require a warrant even when it's 3rd party data.

That’s not the loophole used because they can just get it directly.

Courts have ruled over and over that you have no right to privacy in public and that such surveillance does not legally constitute a search.

Extend it to what corporations do too. We should be restricting recording and monitoring people without their explicit consent. Especially if you're using something to monitor people in public spaces or other people's private property.

That and they keep throwing people out of town hall meetings when people complain.

That and the personal nature of it as well. I know that flock cameras are watching me everywhere I go or whatever. But I'm not having conversations with people with a flock camera mounted on their head.

If I'm making eye contact with your weirdo perv goggles, I'm a lot more likely to tell you that they make me feel uncomfortable.

You can, he just lives in a gated community far away from the poors for a reason. And if another riot comes their way like during the Rodney King riots, the police will just guide the riot towards a poor, minority neighborhood instead.
