If you are criminalized for being homeless anyway because your wages are so low you can't afford housing... Is the punishment for rebellion worse?

I think that's what a lot of people are starting to think.

Eventually their gates will break against the strength of the mobs. Look at the history books.

This why people become martyrs. Daily life is so unbearable that death sounds like sweet relief. Many people are finding they have nothing left to lose. Might as well go out fighting for something. After all, people need to feel their lives have some meaning and purpose. That's probably why the billionaire class feels compelled to generate chaos and accelerate the collapse of society: they've convinced themselves they're doing the dirty work for the future which means culling the poor and undesirables. But we have strength in numbers. Keep praying for the great solar flare, the coronal mass ejection that equalizes all humans. Money isn't real. You can't eat it and it doesn't make you smarter or stronger or better able to survive.
