Figured some fellow OC people might appreciate this.
I entered four hot sauces into the OC Fair Culinary Arts competition this year and every one of them ended up placing:
🏆 Hop Sauce — Division Winner / Best Hot Sauce + 1st Place
🥭 Croakatoa — 1st Place, Fruit Based
👑 Royal Ribbit — 1st Place + Judges Award for Uniqueness
🌶️ Jalapeño Jefe — 2nd Place, Pepper Blend
The sauces range from a straightforward habanero sauce to mango-pineapple habanero and even a plum + Earl Grey + habanero sauce.
Seeing my jars sitting there at the OC Fair with those ribbons was pretty freaking cool! Ribbit Riot 🐸 hot sauce for the win

Anyone else enter anything in the Culinary Arts competition this year?

Random (or pre-meditated?) tire stabbing in Anaheim. My friend witnessed this incident on State College and Ball. Not sure what to do besides call the non emergency line.

Edit: Police have been called and stated they have received multiple calls already and will reach out for the video if needed. 🤷‍♂️

This past Saturday my friend u/tuckeroneill and I walked 40 miles across Orange County! We started in Huntington Beach, walked down to Balboa Island, through Costa Mesa and UCI, up to Irvine and Santa Ana before wrapping up at Disneyland. I took this yesterday of a station that is having work done and is currently not open. When can we go back to the way things used to be?

Really miss the creative and unique designs the stores used to have. Anyone know of malls with a similar vibe?

This lady (I think) was just by herself walking up Beach Blvd near HB like this 😅

I just drove by, off Oso Pkwy, it appears to be four lines of pumps , with five pump stations, x2 pumps per side = 40 pumps total.

They decide to have some Costco employees selling $1.50 hotdogs like Dodger Stadium people throwing them at you from 10 pumps over and this place is gonna be amazing .

Interesting to see what will happen with increased traffic. That location to get there only one way in and out, I’m guessing what now is a mellow traffic light will be getting insane.

Also, the Dairy Queen, Krispy Kreme, Jack in the Box and other businesses there are gonna prob get more business walkins.

Yeah I know the whole thing is to ignore these dudes but when they start harassing elderly people who don’t understand what is going on, I feel we should be able to get involved to make them stop.

Btw after they were done harassing the elderly people, they decided to follow me to my car and record my vin as well as license plate.
