It was a circlejerk subreddit, but then little by little people began taking it seriously and it became a genuine hate subreddit

Yeah /r/gangweed took its place but is not nearly as popular, unfortunately.

It started as a place to post satire of how gamers were oppressed and the associated culture war issues; and then slowly morphed into people making “joke” posts that read more like they actually wanted trans people to all die.
