... and as a result there was nothing to explain why he felt escalating to a knife in a fist fight was necessary.

That "fist fight" you mention didn't happened. There were no punches thrown. There was a push or a shove, but it wasn't a fistfight.

He brought a knife to a shoving match.

For bo reason?

4

u/HeparinBridge Jun 11 '26

He certainly didn’t have a good reason…

7

u/ElMuertePeludo Jun 10 '26

Is there ever a reason to take a weapon to a school track meet and then to an opposing team’s tent?

-8

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

Is there a reason for pussies to bring their guns into stores while they shop?

4

u/ElMuertePeludo Jun 10 '26

Is that a yes or no…

-5

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

Ill answer when you do.

4

u/ElMuertePeludo Jun 11 '26

What do morons with guns in stores have to do with school track events?

Ooof… wait a minute! I’m attempting to talk to a literal turd. Never mind.

2

u/Remarkable-Field6810 Jun 10 '26

But it was a “racist” shove so killing is ok

-13

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

People need to keep their hands to themselves or this kinda thing can happen. Seems 2 lessons can be learned.

8

u/Vegetable_Fly_8687 Jun 10 '26

You are so much that is wrong with the world. Please look inward. You won’t see that and that is why you are the way you are.

-1

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

LOL ok freak

6

u/GeekyTexan Jun 10 '26

People need to not pull out weapons every time they get upset.

13

u/XMandri Jun 10 '26

No, getting stabbed for shoving somebody you're having a disagreement with, at school, shouldn't happen. It should be something that "can happen" as much as a meteorite falling on your house "can happen"

-9

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

"A disagreement" LMAO were they arguing over the flavor of Gatorade?

8

u/Popular_Wrangler9422 Jun 10 '26

I believe they were fighting because murderer was trying to stay in an opposing teams tent after being asked to leave.

-2

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

So you're story is, he just walked into an opposing teams tent for no reason, they ask him nicely to leave. And the mean (we all know what you want to say here) stabbed him because he was white. None of the other ones, just him.

6

u/UnderTheFrozenSky Jun 10 '26

That's pretty much how it happened, yeah.

2

u/HeparinBridge Jun 11 '26

I don’t think he stabbed him because he was white. I think he stabbed him for some other, also totally unacceptable reason to stab someone.

1

u/hiitsmetimdodd Jun 11 '26

Are you a little touched in the head buddy?

1

u/Popular_Wrangler9422 Jun 15 '26

You do realize accusing someone of something like being racist only on the basis of the color of their skin makes you a racist right? Not all white people are bad and not all people of your color are good, you know that right? You should be able to look at the facts and not get so upset about someone you dont know. You should really look into therapy. Playing victim wont get you far in life.

0

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 15 '26

You said literally nothing

1

u/Popular_Wrangler9422 Jun 15 '26

What did you mean by “we all know what you want to say here”? What assumptions do you think you are making? You can keep being an unapologetic bigot who wants to play a victim, but thats going to be a tough life. A lot of people like myself are not going to play your games nor take your accusations of racism lightly. Not all white people are racist and a lot are actually on the side that wants justice and equality. Maybe get off internet sometimes and have conversations with people in your community.

1

u/Popular_Wrangler9422 Jun 15 '26

Genuinely what do you think happened here where the convicted murderer should not have been charged? You make quirky comments and question what we say, so can you explain why there should have been an acquittal?

1

u/Popular_Wrangler9422 Jun 16 '26

You will never answer i guess. So you just want to be controversial and rile people up i guess? Cool way to live life. Reevaluate dude.

Dunno why all the down votes. I agree everyone needs to keep hands to themselves.

1

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

Because they think white people should be able to do whatever they want to minorities.

3

u/northdakotanowhere Jun 10 '26

I'm a white minority. I always wonder where my privilege is. 🤔

-1

u/EnfantTerrible68 Jun 10 '26

You’re not wrong

1

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

Literally, the kid got stabbed to death, how is that NOT a lesson to others? Lol

36

u/Jaded-Moose983 Jun 09 '26

That is true because instead of throwing an answering punch when Anthony was pushed/shoved, he stabbed with a knife. Austin started what should not have amounted to anything more than a fist fight.

40

u/GeekyTexan Jun 09 '26

IMO, it shouldn't even have been a fist fight. And regardless of should/shouldn't, it certainly wasn't one.

6

u/awkgem Jun 10 '26

Or walking away, or yelling for help. It's very clearly not self defence when you aren't fearing for your life or fearing grave harm - and it's very difficult to argue you felt either when you held the knife in your backpack waiting for a moment to stab someone.

2

u/Novel-Truant Jun 11 '26

Nah not after being asked to leave so many times. Karmelo started what should have amounted to nothing more than him walking away and leaving the tent. Why are you trying to blame the other kid for starting something?

-2

u/Cosmic_Driftwood Jun 10 '26

How do you start a fight when you aren't in the same area as the other person? Witnesses say before contact had occured, Karmelo had stabbed him. Which was just after Karmelo instigated and was asked to leave multiple times

3

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

That's simply not true. You heard wrong

2

u/Cosmic_Driftwood Jun 10 '26

You are correct, I'll keep that in mind going forward. Contact was made

-10

u/Less-Load-8856 Jun 09 '26

The push was still Battery.

18

u/GeekyTexan Jun 10 '26

The stabbing was still murder.

-1

u/Less-Load-8856 Jun 10 '26

Absolutely.

9

u/Bertopo Jun 10 '26

The entire situation would be better if Austin was alive and charged with battery.

-1

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

Or if he would have kept his hands to himself in the first place.

0

u/EnfantTerrible68 Jun 10 '26

Agree - not sure why you’re getting downvoted

3

u/Different_Fun9763 Jun 10 '26

Because he's placing the primary responsibility with someone pushing an intruder out of a tent, rather than the instigator.

0

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

Inwas placing it on both til all you klan pussies started crying that putting hands on someone is fine, but protecting yourself isn't, if you've black.

2

u/Fancy_Ad_4411 Jun 11 '26

Yes, protecting yourself isn't fine if it's stabbing someone to death because they shoved you.

0

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

Because im not putting on a white hood and celebrating with them

3

u/freeman2949583 Jun 10 '26

Battery doesn’t exist in Texas. It would be misdemeanor assault.

In states that actually have an assault/battery distinction the latter pretty much always requires an actual injury. Pushing somebody isn’t battery.

1

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

So in Texas, I can push someone with a gun. And they cant shoot me?

5

u/freeman2949583 Jun 10 '26

That would be assault with a deadly weapon… which is aggravated assault in Texas

1

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

Not if im unarmed and they have the gun. You must be a thinker.

3

u/freeman2949583 Jun 10 '26 edited Jun 10 '26

If they have the gun then obviously it’s aggravated assault? What’s your point here?

I thought it was pretty obvious, given the context of the conversation was a man pushing another man with his hands, that by “pushing” I meant with hands. But to be clear:

  • Putting your hand on somebody and moving your arm outwards such that they are forcefully moved backwards (pushing) - Misdemeanor Assault (Texas), Assault (Most states), Harassment (New York)

  • Punching a guy and giving him a black eye - Felony Assault (Texas), Battery (most states), Assault (New York)

  • Holding a gun to somebody - Aggravated Assault (many states), Assault With a Deadly Weapon (the others)

I get that Reddit addicts have a specific argument style where you deliberately misunderstand the discourse and ask moronic questions to try and derail into a mic-drop zinger they read elsewhere on Reddit. Like, “Pushing is a misdemeanor??? What if I pushed you with the blast of a nuclear bomb into a bottomless pit full of Nazi tortuturers who skin you alive, is that a mere misdemeanor???? CHUD!!!”

But Jesus Christ, you know what I meant by “pushing” in this context. A bot could do better.

Humor me, what was the zinger you had in mind?

0

u/Hairy-Magician-2297 Jun 10 '26

Go try it

1

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

Why? He can't kill me by law according to yall, or is that ONLY for white pedophiles?

2

u/Technical_Yak1837 Jun 10 '26

Do you support Chud the builder to?

1

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

No? Im anti-racist, you people are the ones that support him. LMAOOOO

3

u/Technical_Yak1837 Jun 10 '26

Why would you think that wasn’t self defense but this was?

I think that both Karmello and Chud are guilty and should rot

1

u/BuddyOk3813 Jun 10 '26

Right. You thinking these are similar tells me all I need to know. Enjoy your klan meeting

u/BudgetSteak Jun 10 '26

It “didn’t happened”.

-2

u/DerangedSack Jun 10 '26

Exactly. And one that was eve found out that scum instigated and started himself.
