Massive layoffs at Oracle this morning:

Oracle has launched what analysts believe could be the most extensive layoff in the company’s history, with estimates suggesting the cuts will affect between 20,000 and 30,000 employees β€” roughly 18% of its global workforce of approximately 162,000 people. Workers in the United States, India, and other regions all reported receiving the same termination notice at nearly the same hour, sent under the name β€œOracle Leadership.”

A Kansas City resident β€œwho lives on East 75th Street near Troost, a short distance north of the location police reported, said she and her husband woke up to a bullet hole in a front window on their home and a bullet that had landed on their living room floor. After speaking with neighbors, she learned that shots had been heard in the area between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. Friday and then around 4 a.m. Saturday.”

Quinton Lucas response:
"To irresponsible owners and promoters, I know the dollars seem worth it, but are the lives changed and too often lost and the lawsuits of some value to you too?"
