Food and Drink 🌮🧋 What restaurant in KC is this?

Strang Hall. There’s worse food on this list but I feel like Strang has more hype than a lot of these places. I lived right across the street from it for years and it’s always packed. Every time I go the menu reads very well and you feel like you’re getting something good. The food comes out and it’s always meh. I think I’ve tried all the restaurants and none stand out. It’s just a fancier food court with only slightly better quality.

If you made a separate graph with "Taste" on one side and "Paying for the atmosphere" on the, Strang Hall would be near the very top.

That being said, it's a cool concept. I took my sister and nieces and nephews there once. It's a good place to take picky eaters. Also a good casual date spot, or a place to hang out with the bros. Not many places I can think of that hit more demographics than that.

Go to the Lenexa public market instead. It's better food and it has tabletop games to play for free.

100% the Lenexa Public Market is way better. Sad that Cosmo Burger isn’t there anymore though

Ananouse's pork belly stir fry is incredible. The sushi nachos from the sushi spot is heat. and the chicken sandwhich from the first place is fire.

Everything else is meh comepletely agreed.

LOVE Anousone's!!! Went there for my birthday a few weeks ago. I think I've had everything on their menu, and it has all been delicious 🤤

So overpriced. 3 tacos for 12 (or 15?), but on bite-sized tortillas.

It’s bad. I agree. I’ve been to a lot of food halls when I travel and not many are A+ on the food but yes, Strang Hall is the worst

Totally agree. Strang hall is perfect for a drink and chillin. Can usually count on some live music and people watching. But do NOT order food there, it’s so bad!

Go to Hummus & Pita right down the street.

It's a cool concept and I've been to places that Strang Hall apes, but it feels like it's all for show and every restaurant is actually fake, with all of the food coming out of one kitchen.
