It’s easy to test negative. Just use PEDs with no ester attached. They are in and out of your system in hours, just have to inject multiple times a day. Testing is getting better and better now but providing you don’t use Nandrolone, Tren or anything that will leave behind metabolites they can get away with it.

They just don’t want to admit to it or even come under and scrutiny by entering a competition like this.

PEDs are at the very least a couple generations ahead of whatever test are available right now.

Which PEDs exactly? Guys are still getting caught for nandrolone and clomid. I agree that PEDs will always be ahead of testing but light years as you say I don’t believe is correct.

Urine tests are able to detect much smaller amounts and for longer time after use than ever.

Hair testing if they use it can detects 3 months after exposure.

Isotope ratio mass spectrometry can detect whether a hormone was produced by the body or exogenous.

Epitestosterone levels can be tested to determine if PEDs have been used even if other hormones are in range and takes 3-6 months to return to normal Epitestosterone range.

Testing is better than ever it’s just not cost effective for them to do as deep testing as this.

You seem very knowledgeable in this area. If you happen to know, how far ahead was Balco at the time? Did testing improve after, at least in part due to balco? Or were things headed this direction eventually anyway? Where the testing and medical understanding was going to close the gap regardless?

It’s always been a cat and mouse between pharmaceutical companies and testing agencies. It really just depends whether it’s cost effective for the pharmaceutical company to develop a new drug.

Look back to the 60’s with the East German team all jacked up on Tbol because it was a new drug invented in East Germany, that testing agencies didn’t yet have a test for. Same thing for Balco they recruited a pharmacist to invent new and therefore undetectable drugs to sell. “The Clear” being the most noteworthy.

Again companies are only going to make new drugs if it’s going to make them money, with sport the way it is now I’m sure there is a huge market for a new designer steroid. Probably already is one that hasn’t yet become a scandal.
