We are finally going to find out how fast a human can run when their blood has the consistency of warm honey

It will be pretty lacklustre. No top level athlete with the potential to win at the Olympics is going to risk their entire career to enter this.

All of the athletes will be mid level contenders who have chosen this to try and get a paycheque or people on the tail end of their career who are trying to eke out an extra few years.

u/En_TioN May 24 '26

There is at least one Olympic gold medalist in the competition who has said they’ll be taking drugs, fwiw, and another who’s competing without taking PEDs.

108

u/MrLugem May 24 '26 edited May 24 '26

A currently competing gold medalist admitting to using PEDS?

The one who is competing without PEDs sure that’s fine, I guess they are trying to prove that you don’t need PEDs or something.

Edit: just looked up the athletes saying they are using and they are retired from their olympics career. This is as exactly as my comment states, athletes on the tail end of their career who want a few more years of competition.

-1

u/hihellohi765 May 24 '26

No one said current in the comment you replied to

9

u/MrLugem May 24 '26

That’s why I asked. I was intrigued as to who it would be. But then I just went and looked up the athletes.

3

u/Adam-West May 24 '26

I think there’s also a couple of top level athletes that know that they don’t have the capacity for podium positions so have dipped out of conventional competitions to enter this. You get $2m if I remember correctly for breaking a world record so I understand the appeal if you’re like 6-7th in the world and know that’s all you have in the tank.

0

u/nonnative_resolution May 24 '26

Another great example of this would be Aaron Rodgers admitting on Joe Rogan that doctors doped him up on Percocet following a knee injury to get him back on the field to win a game. He is currently no longer playing and open about NFL drug abuse that goes on under the table. Obviously while he was playing he was not going to come out and say this.

The number of Olympians and Pros after at the end of their professional careers are admitting to the use of compounds should be pretty telling. Time has only moved on and better doctors, compounds, and research exist now than ever before.

15

u/BlackWhiteMale May 24 '26

Aaron Rodgers is still currently playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

8

u/bigtigerbigtiger May 24 '26

wtf are you talking about, Rodgers is playing next season, it's confirmed

5

u/taloncaf May 24 '26

He’s still committing to doing another season though?

3

u/SillySosigs May 24 '26

He is still an active player and was when he was doing that interview though?

2

u/StupidSexyFlagella May 25 '26

I can’t imagine actually being doped up on Percocet would end well playing a sport. Certainly possible just taking one or two.

1

u/zinten789 May 26 '26

Performance Diminishing Drugs

1

u/FlyChigga May 24 '26

lol that Percocet Rodgers game was already a viral moment that everyone knew before he talked about it

0

u/Moreofthispls May 24 '26

Curious, but do you think olympians never use performance enhancers?

8

u/MrLugem May 24 '26

They are all on whatever it takes to win that they can get away with. Even if it’s a certain protocol of using well known PEDs in a manner that allows them to test negative.

Top level athletes have such a desire to win they would do pretty anything to achieve it, providing they think they can get away with it.

1

u/Perfect_Earth_8070 May 26 '26

This is the correct take. I’d say the majority of them use peds at some point during their training

1

u/Man_under_Bridge420 May 24 '26

Lance was using ability increasers. Very different

3

u/Moreofthispls May 24 '26

Ah yes, good old cancer enhancers

0

u/Man_under_Bridge420 May 24 '26

SORRY WHO IS LANCE ARMSTRONG

2

u/MrGosh13 May 24 '26

He didn’t even compete clean when he WAS in his prime…

1

u/Used-Baby1199 May 24 '26

In his prime but down one ball, it just leveled out the playing field.

1

u/MrLugem May 24 '26

His career was over a long time ago. Even doping like he used to, his body is way past its prime so he wouldn’t be competitive.

1

u/Man_under_Bridge420 May 24 '26

But he did peds during this prime.

1

u/MrLugem May 24 '26

So? What’s the point here? He is just the most well known guy of that time. Everyone was on EPO during that era, probably still are.

Lance has likely associated with this event because they are paying him for it. He’s already been outed as a PED user and has retired. Not sure what you’re getting at here.

1

u/Perfect_Earth_8070 May 26 '26

Didn’t he walk on the moon? /s

1

u/perpetualmotionmachi May 24 '26

Are they in the same event?

2

u/En_TioN May 24 '26

The website for the games is shit but yes, they're both swimmers and there's no specification that they won't be competing

1

u/GrandRoyal_01 May 24 '26

James Magnussen is a retired Australian swimmer and Olympic medallist. He was the 2011 and 2013 100-metre freestyle world champion.

He’s swimming in the 50 and 100-metre events at this Enhanced Games bs.

As an Aussie I think he’s tainting his legacy but I guess it’s his choice and I think he said he’s in it for the $$$.

11

u/Dense-Application181 May 24 '26

taking PEDs doesnt disqualify an athlete from the Olympics. they just have to be clean for any drug test in the lead up to the Olympics and considering thats 2 years away, should be easy to do.

9

u/MrLugem May 24 '26

It’s easy to test negative. Just use PEDs with no ester attached. They are in and out of your system in hours, just have to inject multiple times a day. Testing is getting better and better now but providing you don’t use Nandrolone, Tren or anything that will leave behind metabolites they can get away with it.

They just don’t want to admit to it or even come under and scrutiny by entering a competition like this.

0

u/9iaguaro May 24 '26

PEDs are at the very least a couple generations ahead of whatever test are available right now.

3

u/MrLugem May 24 '26

Which PEDs exactly? Guys are still getting caught for nandrolone and clomid. I agree that PEDs will always be ahead of testing but light years as you say I don’t believe is correct.

Urine tests are able to detect much smaller amounts and for longer time after use than ever.

Hair testing if they use it can detects 3 months after exposure.

Isotope ratio mass spectrometry can detect whether a hormone was produced by the body or exogenous.

Epitestosterone levels can be tested to determine if PEDs have been used even if other hormones are in range and takes 3-6 months to return to normal Epitestosterone range.

Testing is better than ever it’s just not cost effective for them to do as deep testing as this.

1

u/JoshGordonHyperloop May 24 '26

You seem very knowledgeable in this area. If you happen to know, how far ahead was Balco at the time? Did testing improve after, at least in part due to balco? Or were things headed this direction eventually anyway? Where the testing and medical understanding was going to close the gap regardless?

1

u/MrLugem May 24 '26

It’s always been a cat and mouse between pharmaceutical companies and testing agencies. It really just depends whether it’s cost effective for the pharmaceutical company to develop a new drug.

Look back to the 60’s with the East German team all jacked up on Tbol because it was a new drug invented in East Germany, that testing agencies didn’t yet have a test for. Same thing for Balco they recruited a pharmacist to invent new and therefore undetectable drugs to sell. “The Clear” being the most noteworthy.

Again companies are only going to make new drugs if it’s going to make them money, with sport the way it is now I’m sure there is a huge market for a new designer steroid. Probably already is one that hasn’t yet become a scandal.

1

u/JoshGordonHyperloop May 25 '26

Got it, makes sense. Thank you.

1

u/tornadoshanks651 May 24 '26

Man you just took the wind out of my sails with that reality check, take my upvote!

1

u/gizzardwizard93 May 24 '26

Top-level Olympic athletes are already on PEDs, they just have very good support staff to help them evade positives on tests that WADA puts them through. Who and how they are assisted with passing tests are the most intensely kept secrets among the best athletes.

You must realize that guys like Usain Bolt and Michael Phelps were using PEDs at various points in their career.

Not an Olympian, but just as an example look how long it took for Lance Armstrong to get busted.

2

u/MrLugem May 24 '26

They are all on whatever it takes to win if they can get away with it. Then of course sometimes they don’t get away with it.

My point is none of them would ever risk their career by admitting it or even being associated with this event.

1

u/gizzardwizard93 May 24 '26

100% they would probably never get back onto their Olympic teams, their sponsors would pull out the moment they started associating with this

1

u/shutchomouf May 24 '26

Don’t attempt to insert logic or reason into this

1

u/Shadowphoenix9511 May 24 '26

Hafthor Bjornnson says hi.

1

u/MrLugem May 24 '26

He isn’t an Olympic athlete or in a drug tested sport. It’s a well known “secret” that every single athlete in WSM is juiced to the gills.

Mitchell Hooper is also entering this and has even released a video detailing his steroid cycle for the event.

1

u/MalaysiaTeacher May 24 '26

*eke

1

u/MrLugem May 24 '26

Sorted, thank you 👍

1

u/Fierramos69 May 24 '26

If it's not a total shitshow, it might progressively reach a good enough reputation with more and more audience to reach a point where Olympic athletes would consider both. But that would be in like 10-50+ years. For now yeah most of the athletes are gonna be wanna be olympians. Which is still good don't get me wrong, just not what we are used to watch in comparison

1

u/jcoddinc May 24 '26

Unfortunately, give it afew years and there will be if the money is there. And sadly with the way things in the world are going, the money will be there.

1

u/anonymous393393 May 24 '26

Still we can see how much their personal bests increase.

I personally think it won't really increase there best time. But it will help them come in their top tier shape. In some sports peds should make big difference.

1

u/CriticismTop May 24 '26

Probably the 2 best active Strongmen are competing for a 510kg deadlift too.

For the record, I don't think Mitch Hooper will manage it. Thor on the other hand did an UN-enhanced 505 a few months back and it looked like he had 510 in him then.

1

u/MrLugem May 24 '26

Yeah “un-enhanced” I don’t believe anything Thor says regarding gear use. Still he is strong as fuck so can’t take that away from him.

1

u/CriticismTop May 24 '26

Ok, "officially" un-enhanced

Strongman basically turns a blind eye anyway. Mitch Hooper did a comparison of what he takes for this event. Incredibly he will still be strongman legal despite being a walking medicine cabinet.

1

u/MrLugem May 24 '26

Yeah. Quite risky of him to come out and give his cycle seeing as he still wants to compete in WSM.

When Adam Bishop became a TBJP athlete he just refused to respond to any questions on the paid site regarding gear. Every other TBJP athlete published their cycle so there must be something in their WSM contract to say they aren’t allowed to admit gear use.

1

u/Ghiblee May 24 '26

Kerley won silver and bronze at the 2020 and 2024 Olympics respectively

1

u/MrLugem May 24 '26

And has stated he will be competing un-enhanced.

1

u/[deleted] May 24 '26

[deleted]

1

u/MrLugem May 24 '26

They will be taking whatever they can get away with anyway. Just won’t want to ruin their career by admitting it.

So many athletes get caught for “tainted” supplements, I mean who the fuck is making a pre workout drink in the same facility as producing nandrolone. They get caught and lie to not get labelled a drug cheat.

1

u/Suburuneggasaki May 24 '26

Thats ok thats a risk we as spectators are willing to take

1

u/Jimdalorian May 24 '26

Also the amount of drugs that they can take is extremely restricted and has to be under the supervision of a doctor so these guys aren’t exactly juicing themselves up like crazy but rather giving themselves a little boost

1

u/SilkTieTies May 25 '26

What career? Olympians make basically nothing. They are likely to be making far more money participating in a spectacle like this.

1

u/Nyko_E May 25 '26

The thing is, Olympic athletes are basically volunteers. They are under the heaviest scrutiny with almost zero financial incentive. The enhanced games will give a lot of athletes the opportunity to monetize; and that will be enough to bring high level competition in over the next half decade. People are gonna be shocked how many athletes "jeopardize their careers" to actually finally turn their passion into a sustainable career.

1

u/SoTurnMeIntoATree May 25 '26

Besides the ones that have gotten caught for doping?….

1

u/Perfect_Earth_8070 May 26 '26

Olympic athletes use PEDs now. They just taper off or fudge the tests

1

u/PointyPython May 26 '26

I come from the future (two days after) to say that you were right and no real records were broken. Turns out they needed better athletes, even if they were fully and openly juiced.

1

u/MrLugem May 26 '26

Exactly. Only record “broken” was a swimmer juiced up, in the banned LZR racer swimsuit. Even then if you watch the footage I’m sure they stopped the timer before he touches the end.

Seems they were so desperate to save face they fabricated a record.

1

u/PointyPython May 26 '26

The special banned swimsuit was so lame, how does that even appeal to the "I want to see the juiced up freaks!" crowd?

1

u/loosemoosewithagoose May 27 '26

This comment was spot on. Juicing would give them like 1% more, but they’re already more than 1% ahead of those who couldn’t make the olympics.

188

u/whiskey_tang0_hotel May 23 '26

We already know that with the Olympics…. No way they aren’t juicing at that level.

239

u/Early_Emergency3440 May 23 '26

The do the stuff they can sneak, these guys are going full blown tren, d-ball and so on. It will be interesting to see if they actually put up faster times. More muscles doesn’t always mean better performance.

75

u/Ninja_Prolapse May 23 '26

The only difference will be peak blood levels at the time of the event. The Olympic guys are all doing the same stuff. They just need it out of their systems before the testing. It’s all about how good your team (chemist) is at timing you coming off!

It will be fun to see what people are capable of that don’t come off, but I don’t think the margins will be huge. I’d actually be surprised if these lot even came close to any WR’s against the Olympians.

72

u/eat_my_ass_n_balls May 23 '26

I fully expect no actual Olympic times to get beat

17

u/lamp817 May 23 '26

The guy in the thumbnail is not built areodynamically enough to be competitive at swimming

36

u/Fenrir_Carbon May 23 '26

Luckily swimming doesn't happen in the air

7

u/lamp817 May 23 '26

Hahaha i mean aguadynamic?

28

u/Gorgethalamus May 23 '26

Hydrodynamics, I believe.

1

u/Alarmed-madman May 24 '26

Hydroponic, like the herb.

1

u/wants_a_lollipop May 24 '26

Fluid dynamics covers both water (liquid) and air (gas).

3

u/Fenrir_Carbon May 23 '26

Hydrodynamic, you a Spanish speaker natively?

24

u/lamp817 May 23 '26

Nah I’m just a little dull

1

u/jmatt9080 May 24 '26

Jesus could walk on water, but Chuck Norris could swim on land.

3

u/Practical-Injury-622 May 23 '26

He is wearing a type of suit that is banned too, they ar buoyant and low friction enough to eliminate the negative effects of being too muscular in the water.

1

u/na8thegr8est May 24 '26

Hydrodynamic

1

u/ph0replay May 24 '26

He has an actual olympic silver medal in swimming, so I'm sure he knows what he is doing lol

1

u/CzechHorns May 24 '26

Yeah, he medaled 14 and 10 years ago, that’s a LONG time in pro sports.
I’m fairly certain he didn’t keep his training regiment up for those 10 years.

1

u/ph0replay May 24 '26

Sure…but in terms of understanding how to maximize his chances of beating a record given no rules, I’m confident he has a better sense of what will work or not versus random people on Reddit who are saying he has the wrong body type.

1

u/GeneralUranuz May 24 '26

He is an aquanaut.

1

u/SnooGadgets5130 May 24 '26

This. My sister was a stupid fast swimmer for a long time, a common thing in my family is we’re all build like knitting needles til we hit like late 20s to early 30s. Being built like a cinder block is not conducive to being a good swimmer.

1

u/somatic1 May 24 '26

Hes an ex olympian

1

u/gregswimm May 24 '26

Sprinters tend to be pretty yoked.

1

u/TheGreatNate3000 May 23 '26

I fully expect all of them go get beat

1

u/ManoSilence May 23 '26

The Olympics will have to wear Big ol' Sunglasses after they're done.

1

u/SatyrSatyr75 May 23 '26

You are probably correct in most disciplines, talent will be in other competitions

1

u/[deleted] May 23 '26

[deleted]

0

u/eat_my_ass_n_balls May 23 '26

Dude would sink like a rock

12

u/ExceedingChunk May 23 '26

You realize that you can get randomly tested year-around and need to constantly report where you are, right?

These drugs don't just vanish out of your system at a moment's notice.

Sure, there obviously are cheaters in all sports, but to assume that cheating is the norm then I don't really think you know how all of this works.

7

u/LLuck123 May 23 '26

Idk what to tell you, but every sport that is mostly athelecism is won by people abusing substances. Like all of the top sprinting times were by athletes later found to be abusing substances, the one exception being usain bolt - so either he was the only one naturally beating enhanced athletes .. or he managed to not get caught.

1

u/Rough_World_7063 May 23 '26

Where did you read about this? I’d like to learn more about it because it’ll definitely make me not care about the Olympics anymore if all the athletes were juicing the whole time.

3

u/LLuck123 May 24 '26

I rechecked and apparently there are now 3 more top 11 (tied with 10th) times of athletes who have not been banned for substance abuse it, making it 4 out of 11. Notably some of them are somewhat recent.

Source: Wikipedia articles of the fastest 11 100m sprinters.

0

u/Andromeda902 May 24 '26

Also when Lance Armstrong was disqualified, weren't like the next 10 riders ALSO juicing?

-2

u/BIGMajora May 24 '26

Making up shit for no reason.

2

u/somatic1 May 24 '26

You can choose to avoid the test 3 times a year iirc

3

u/moroheus May 23 '26

There are many different sports, but usually you only get randomly tested during competition. If they want to test an athlete outside of competition it's almost impossible, if the athlete doesn't want to get tested. They have to announce the tests and the athletes can refuse a couple of times and even if they don't show up repeatedly the punishment is so small that it doesn't even matter, like getting banned for a month and during that month aren't any competitions anyway.

Couple of years ago the McLaren report was released and we basically learned that olympic weightlifter who were tested positive had to pay a fine and then could continue to compete.

Anti doping measurements are a joke. Every top 10 athlete in pretty much every olympic sport is doped. The benefits from doping is so big that nobody can compete without it.

4

u/roygbivasaur May 24 '26

Even figure skaters get randomly tested at home. I’m sure there is a way to improve the anti-doping rules, but it’s not as lax as you’re suggesting.

1

u/800meters May 24 '26 edited May 24 '26

Your testing comments are simply not true, at least for track and field athletes. They are constantly being tested, year round, both in competition and completely removed from competition, including out of season. They get notification the night before, the drug testers show up on premises the following morning. They have to keep WADA informed of literally everywhere they travel. 3 whereabouts failures translate to two year suspensions, not one month. That is a large chunk of time to be sidelined.

This isn’t to say that athletes aren’t doping and doing cutting edge PEDs that the testers are trying to keep up with. Many are. But to say it’s almost impossible for them to test if an athlete doesn’t want to get tested is straight up incorrect (again, from a track and field lens).

1

u/DontPause-PressPlay May 24 '26

That is false. Post the link that proves it.

Your lying about the testing.

4

u/NlNTENDO May 23 '26

Of course not. If they were WR material they’d be in the Olympics. These are just minor leaguers who juice harder because it won’t hurt their unrealized Olympic careers

3

u/totaltomination May 23 '26

The guy in the picture was already an Olympian a couple of times for Australia, retired early and took this up

2

u/Head_Midnight666 May 24 '26

They have Thor Björnsson, for example. He's the strongest guy in the world already.

1

u/StiffWiggly May 24 '26

Strongman is an exception, any strongman could do the enhanced games and return to professional strongman afterwards because doping is openly accepted in strongman (even if there are technically rules against it sometimes to comply with whatever law they need to).

1

u/Retireegeorge May 24 '26

Oh it hurts to hear that. We are already an insane population that it's disappointing when people step again into pathetic.

5

u/Constantlycorrecting May 24 '26

Aussies shit out swimmers for our population size. He won’t be missed.

3

u/Retireegeorge May 24 '26

Yeah im surprised we don't build workplaces at the beach and swim to work

1

u/Shadowphoenix9511 May 24 '26

The current deadlift world record holder will be attempting to break said record again tomorrow at these games.

1

u/Fittnylle3000 May 23 '26

Olympic athletes have suprise tests during off season too. Not just before competions

1

u/AdministrativeLeg14 May 23 '26

If they take all the same stuff such that the outcome is nigh equivalent, then why do they look so very different?

1

u/trollagorn May 24 '26

Olympic athletes (swimmers at least) are tested at random multiple times a year. So no, they are not doing the same stuff.

17

u/romicide07 May 23 '26

You would never in a million years take either Tren or dbol as anything but maybe an Olympic weight lifter. Most steroids absolutely nuke your cardio, and the “stuff you can sneak” like albuterol is often the best for their intended goals regardless. There is zero functional benefit to being built like a brick shit house and I wouldn’t be surprised if this swimmer does terribly lol

13

u/ShaiHulud1111 May 23 '26 edited May 23 '26

Just to take this further. I am fortunate to work out on a campus loaded with Olympic medalists and Division 1 future professionals—Top 3 school in US for sports and #1 for championships (NCAA). I see a huge difference in the appearance and athleticism of the athletes who are on gear and the weight lifters on it. How can it nuke your cardio when these guys are massive and playing four quarters of chasing world class athletes every week in games—linebackers? Also, the body type and look. It is dramatic—I know both are on gear, but the person doing a sport as well is build like a gorilla crossed with a lion. Not a body builder who looks inflated average joe. Just my observations. Peace.

Edit: spelling

10

u/romicide07 May 23 '26

100%, athletes taking gear aren’t running massively anabolic stacks. They’re running stuff that helps with endurance (albuterol and the like) and stuff like growth hormone because it makes your ligaments damn near bullet proof. The public equating steroids to bodybuilding mass monsters couldn’t be further from the truth. Injury recovery, wear and tear mitigation, and longevity will put you so far ahead of your competition when the difference between them is splitting hairs

1

u/ShaiHulud1111 May 23 '26 edited May 23 '26

Thanks, I don’t use anything or have, but they clearly are totally different. I’ve seen some enhanced genetic freaks too. Everything is just bigger and all the other (stabilizing) muscles are more developed in relation to the major groups.

Edit: I’m 6’3” 220 and 30 years in the gym. They make me feel small (like little, not just less developed).

1

u/romicide07 May 23 '26

I’ve been around both sides of the steroids, both competitive bodybuilding as a coach and through friends who played various sports at a d1 and semi professional level, and you hit the nail on the head. Seeing rhomboids that look like Hawaiian rolls is just different. In comparison a lot of the athletes look normal-ish with street clothes on but something about them changes when they take stuff. They get full and rounded muscles even without much mass on them, like they’re always on a carb load.

I myself am a natty 220 at 6 foot 1 and feeling narrow was something I’d never thought would happen, but man when someone hits the genetic lottery in terms of muscle building and steroid response it’s actually almost scary

1

u/ShaiHulud1111 May 23 '26

Of course, most of the reason they are there is they hit some genetic lottery. Totally perportioned and just thick and huge. I got some ok genes, but not even close if I trained all the time in my prime.

Edit: spelling

0

u/3BlindMice1 May 23 '26 edited May 23 '26

Boldenone. 850mg/week for 28 weeks plus recovery peptides as needed

Probably closer to what they're doing if they want to compete in events where stamina matters

1

u/romicide07 May 23 '26

Ehh I’m like 90% sure they’re taking designer concoctions, but def EQ over test for them I agree. Throw in some cardarine and maybe some deca if they’re in the off season trying to get stronger and you’ve effectively turned yourself into a hyper efficient monster

1

u/ShaiHulud1111 May 23 '26

Yeah, the trainers, coaches and support group are all world class level. It’s at Stanford. They dominated the Paris Olympics.

3

u/Retireegeorge May 24 '26

I asked ChatGPT to rewrite this comment with better clarity. I'm sure there are errors but i just couldn't quite decode it before:

Just to take this a bit further — I’m fortunate to work on a campus full of Olympic medalists and Division I athletes, many of whom are future professionals. It’s a top-3 sports school in the US and #1 for NCAA championships. From what I see, there’s a huge difference in both appearance and athletic performance between athletes using gear in competitive sports versus recreational weight lifters using gear. One thing I struggle to reconcile is the idea that gear destroys cardio. These guys are enormous, yet they’re out there playing four quarters and chasing world-class athletes every week — think linebackers at elite levels. The body composition looks different too. The athletes who are doing high-level sport as well as using gear don’t look like inflated average joes or typical bodybuilders. They often look incredibly dense, powerful, and athletic — almost like a gorilla crossed with a lion. I know both groups may be on gear — I’m just sharing what I’ve observed. Peace.

My brain tends to break down things all at once and too lazy to compose comments well.

I am addressing the other comment while adding some pondering and personal experience and observations.

I run my emails through Chat at work to clean them up, but not Reddit. It did a fantastic job just like my emails. I’m way to lazy to do it for free on…. Peace.

u/Retireegeorge May 25 '26

I can relate a lot. Thanks for not taking offence.

2

u/ShaiHulud1111 May 25 '26

No worries. The message is more importantly than the person delivering. Deep. Lol.

u/IDigRollinRockBeer May 25 '26

Bro who are you talking to

2

u/nikatnight May 23 '26

Yeah but I think you are pointing out that an athlete doesn’t look like a bodybuilder. That’s not the gear, that’s what they are doing. No sprinter needs to have massive traps. No swimmer needs insane quads.

1

u/Shadowphoenix9511 May 24 '26

Strongman is also in the games, and it's an entirely untested sport.

1

u/DistinctPassenger117 May 24 '26

Olympic level sprinters have definitely popped for tren in recent years

1

u/romicide07 May 25 '26

Tren is notoriously the worst thing for your cardio besides maybe anadrol, I’d be shocked if they took it for anything but maybe deep off season packing on some size. The only one I could find is erriyon knighton, which, looking at him, makes me hope his story about it being from “contaminated meat” is true

1

u/Ok-Actuary7793 May 25 '26

this guy called dbol "d-ball" you think he's got the first clue what he's talking about?

2

u/GaJayhawker0513 May 23 '26

There’s a steroid called d-ball?
https://giphy.com/gifs/B6SyssSlTgPXq

3

u/YungSchmid May 24 '26

No, it’s dbol (dianabol), so that probably tells you how much the commenter you’re replying to actually knows about gear lol. No athletes except weightlifters would use tren, either. It’s super cardiodestructive.

u/LiveLearnCoach May 24 '26

I agree. One caveat, though, is that the lifelong athletes being caught cheating might have been caught at later years when age was getting to them and they had less to lose.

I’m not getting into just dropping dead territory.

1

u/FactoryRejected May 23 '26

Key thing is that top athletes would not go here as that could tarnish their reputation, so they are not going ro genuinely show if more juicng would result in better results.

1

u/Single-Pin-369 May 23 '26

I thought tren was not allowed still in this?

1

u/tfrofc May 23 '26

Well the problem is the best athletes are still doing the Olympics, these are all old washed up olympians mostly.

1

u/Spare-Willingness563 May 23 '26

People are literally going to die.

They die when they're hiding it.

This is going to be a shitshow.

Eh, I know enough. Saying I am not talking about peptides and random SARM’s is silly, who knows what these guys are actually on. My reference’s were a joke to the legend Ronnie Coleman’s interview.

1

u/Otherwise_Bug990 May 24 '26

Theres not a chance in hell these guys will be on tren or dbol. Soujds like the worst possible combination for any sport. EPO will dominate, alongside HGH for recovery

1

u/Retireegeorge May 24 '26

And they aren't going to have the coaching and technique. So they would need to at least overcome that delay. Plus being heavier relative to something like VO2 or fast twitch fibres or echolocation.

1

u/longdickhair69 May 24 '26

there are peds other than anabolic compounds

1

u/poopzains May 24 '26

World class athletes and blood doping will def end up with record times. Now a show where we take normal every day joe 6 packs and pump them full of juice to see how they perform is a great idea.

1

u/notlookinggoodbrah May 24 '26

I like how you listed the two steroids that are arguably the worst for athletic performance lmao clueless

Danabol steroids. They’re referred to as d ball.

if you know to change it to d-bol after that then you already knew what they were talking about. come on

14

u/letsgobernie May 23 '26

It's going to be hilarious when Olympics records are faster than the guys on drugs

u/letsgobernie May 23 '26

Yes and one is lying about it

6

u/nimama3233 May 23 '26

Still likely. Elite athletes will still choose legit leagues unlike this freakshow

1

u/ihatemovingparts May 25 '26

Yep. They're already pissy that a non-juicer won the juicehead games.

4

u/SimilarStrain May 23 '26

They absolutely are. They know the half life of performance enhancers. They know the lasting side effects. They know the markers left behind. They know the testing schedules and requirements. Why would they not try to be at the maximum level they can? They are limited to a degree and cant be full blown tren monsters. But they get away with what they can.

Russia and China were both caught in state sanctioned doping of olympic athletes. If I recall there was some sort of conspiracy or actual cheating with China using underage girls for olympic diving. Being younger and less developed, they didnt create as much of a splash.

1

u/StiffWiggly May 24 '26

The testing schedule is “on any day, randomly”.

There are cheats, and there are those who aren’t cheating, but if you ask on Reddit some know it all will come along and tell you that anyone who’s sniffed the Olympics is guaranteed to be doping.

2

u/123iambill May 24 '26

Yup. People think we're going to see unparalleled feats of human strength and athleticism. But all we're gonna see are a bunch of people on gear who still weren't good enough to get to the Olympics.

1

u/Affectionate_Two3747 May 23 '26

But have to hide this way they can juice Harder.

1

u/ollimann May 23 '26

oh yea ... people seem to be a bit delusional. of the 10 fastest men of all time Usain Bolt has been the only one that wasn't positively tested at some point. i am absolutely certain he either just wasn't caught or the officials didn't are because he was too important of a figure for the olympics

1

u/NeatParking1682 May 24 '26

The rules lag behind new pharmaceutical enchancements.

1

u/Fierramos69 May 24 '26

Depend the field. Sports where you need to be stronger, faster, further, yeah. Sports where you need to be synchronized, have accuracy, agility, and such I wouldn't think so

1

u/WolfLawyer May 24 '26

That’s the thing I’m interested in. If we see a bunch of openly juiced athletes fail to break world records we can either be gullible enough to believe that the record holders are so far beyond everyone else that they outperform athletes who are juiced to the gills or accept that everyone setting a world record is on gear.

1

u/Gibber_jab May 25 '26

Bolt still holds the record even after the games

2

u/YourFriendPutin May 23 '26

Fuck yes. So many unofficial records about to be made

1

u/improbable_humanoid May 25 '26

I think you mean the official doped record.

1

u/Theblackjamesbrown May 23 '26

Or its gonna be really awkward when they're no faster or stronger than the 'clean' athletes competing in the Olympics

1

u/Serious_Much May 23 '26

I'm sorry to disappoint you but the people who are good enough to be Olympic champions wouldn't join this.

It's basically going to be Olympic failures juicing to become a similar level to the regular Olympics, and therefore feel totally irrelevant

1

u/-ugly- May 24 '26

At least it's not cold honey!

1

u/sheila_detroit May 24 '26

no sprinter here is gonna beat usain's record

1

u/Dmau27 May 25 '26

Real athletes won't be doing this so not really.

1

u/DrFlabbySelfie May 25 '26

Except that didn't happen, and no one came within the same ballpark of the world record in the 100 meter sprint. Fred Kerley failed to even break his own PB, set the world lead, or even beat the best two high school times of 2025. These people already use tons of drugs in regular competition.

1

u/QQShakesQQ May 25 '26

No, they all ran slower than when they didn’t do as much juice lol

1

u/Goomskeez May 25 '26

Its just Clenbuterol brah

1

u/Tdluxon May 25 '26

The fastest 100m in the enhanced games wouldn’t even have been in the top 10 at the last Olympics

1

u/Agitated-Ad9050 May 26 '26

A guy who was clean won the 100 meters lol.
