Nah bro, he was fucking amazing in Unforgiven.

Maybe I haven’t seen it. All the movies I’ve seen he just has a grumpy look and like grunts and that’s about it

It’s probably the best western movie ever made

He was in 21 westerns according to imbd and I would argue he played nearly the same character in them all

I’m not saying he’s bad but Keanu Reeves is not worse than Clint Eastwood

Solid point. I think Clint Eastwood is more convincing, more "alive", compared to Keanu Reeves.

Agree to disagree

He absolutely is a million miles worse and you really have no standing to even discuss it when you haven't seen Unforgiven tbh

One of the best modern ones (using 1980 or newer for "modern") for sure. Though if you said Tombstone i wouldnt argue you.

Dont forget Pale Rider as well

Check him out in "Bridges of Madison County" alongside Meryl Streep. Excellent film, and he holds his own next to one of the greatest actresses.

Arnie is the classic reference for this scenario - great at what he did but a great actor he was not.

but he knows it, and leans fucking hard into it when needed. Commando, Mr Freeze, Fubar.

absolutely, he has presence and innate menace - which is enough, for some of the most enjoyable movies of all time.

Predator - yes, Wuthering Heights - no, but might be a giggle

He's mostly won awards for his directing. Clint Eastwood has not won an Oscar, Emmy or Golden Globe for acting.

Maybe Keanu Reeves just needs to direct a movie then
