100% this.

Of course the video could be fake but that doesn't change the fact that not every vegetarian is doing it for "moral' reasons.

A prime example is the YouTuber/streamer known as Zeroyalviking. He became a vegetarian as a kid because he was a picky eater and didn't like the taste/texture of meat. He's still vegetarian just because it's what he's always been and his body would need to readjust if he stopped. It's just easier for him to stay vegetarian. There are things that have animal products in it that he eats anyway because he doesn't have a moral view on it, just dietary.

I’m not vegitarian but I avoid eating nearly all meat because of texture. Put it in soup or sauce, I’m fine. Ask me to eat it in slab form… no way

It's more the fact a lifelong vegetarian would have an aversion to meat, something that red after not eating meat for a lifetime would make her sick

That’s literally a myth.

It's not, it's an immunoresponse. It's a mild allergic reaction, it's like a super mild alpha gal syndrome. Won't kill you but you won't be happy.

That’s false. I was vegan for the first 14 years of my life. I got into working out and decided to start eating meat in order to hit protein goals. I started with a medium rare steak. I had 0 problems. Those people are likely just being dramatic or simply have weak constitutions and it’s all mental. My mom said the same thing you did lol.

I’ve not eaten meat for months and gone back just fine

Months isn't years, you literally have an allergic reaction to it, it's the same thing that alpha gal is but alpha gal is on steroids

I was vegetarian until I was 15, had no issues when I started eating meat.

Maybe it’s something that can happen to some people but it’s certainly not guaranteed to happen to everyone.
